Sommige landen worden bestuurd door een democratisch gekozen regering, andere worden bestuurd door koningen of koninginnen, die gekozen worden door geboorterecht. En dan zijn er nog landen die bestuurd worden door dictators, die aan de macht zijn gekomen, en niet meer van plan zijn die macht ooit uit handen te geven...

Ons mooie land wordt bestuurd door een dictator EN door een democratisch gekozen parlement. Nu hoor ik je denken:


Nou, dat is wat we gaan uitleggen in dit artikel. Democratisch gekozen Parlement

Net als alle andere landen in eRepublik hebben we iedere maand verkiezingen voor het congres. En wijzelf kiezen het congres, door te stemmen op een partij die in de top 5 zit en die een lijst met kandidaten heeft (net als in het echt).
Het congres heeft 10 leden per provincie in ons bezit. Dus als we all onze provincies bezitten, zouden we een congres met 40 leden hebben.

Het congres debatteert en maakt wetsvoorstellen op het forum. Als een wetsvoorstel geaccepteerd wordt na een stemming, word er normaal ook in-game een stemming gestart, waar elk congreslid ja op moet stemmen zodat het ook in-game geaccepteerd wordt. Het Dictator Systeem

eRepublik heeft recent het 'Dictator Systeem' geïntroduceerd. Een Military Unit kan een staatsgreep plegen in het land waar ze gevestigd zijn. Als deze staatsgreep lukt, wordt de bevelhebber van de Military Unit de dictator van dat land. De dictator heeft absolute macht, en heeft het congres niet nodig om wetsvoorstellen te maken en te accepteren.

Als er een dictator in een land is zijn er nog steeds Congres- en Presidentsverkiezingen. Maar het congres en de president hebben geen enkele macht meer in-game, en ze ontvangen ook geen goud meer voor hun medailles. De dictator daarintegen ontvangt 50 goud per maand. Het eNederlandse Systeem

In eNederland hebben we officieel het Dictator Systeem. Dus we hebben een dictator (ElGorro) die de enige is die in-game wetten kan aanpassen. Maar wij hebben net iets anders bedacht: Onze dictator volgt de bevelen van de President en het congres op. Bovendien doneert ElGorro zijn goud wat hij verdient aan dictator medals aan de staat. Dus uiteindelijk hebben we het Democratisch gekozen Parlement Systeem, maar met een 'neppe' dictator.

Maar waarom dan die 'neppe' dictator, als de President en het congres als normaal functioneren? Nou, gewoon voor veiligheid. Zolang we ElGorro als dictator hebben, die gezworen heeft de bevelen van de President op te volgen, zijn we beschermd tegen andere (buitenlandse) dictators.

Some countries are ruled by a democratic chosen parliament, other countries are ruled by kings or queens, who are chosen by birthright. And other countries are ruled by dictators, who came to power, and aren't going to leave power ever again....

Our beautiful country of eNetherlands is ruled by a dictator AND by a democratic chosen parliament. Now I hear you thinking:


Well that is what we are going to explain in this article. Democratic chosen Parliament

Just like all other eCountries we have congress elections every month. And we choose the congress ourselves, by voting for a top 5 party which has a list of congressmen (Just like in RL). The congress has 10 members per controlled province. So if we control all our provinces, we would have a congress of 40 members.

The congress debates and makes law proposals on the forum. If a law proposal is accepted after a vote, it will normally be proposed in-game as well, and every member must vote yes for it so it passes in-game to.
The Dictator System

eRepublik recently introduced the 'Dictator System'. A Military Unit can attempt a coup in the country they are established in. If the coup is successful, the commander of that MU becomes the dictator of the country. The dictator has ultimate power, and doesn't need the congress to make and accept proposals.

If there is a dictator in a country, there still are Congress and County President elections. But the congress and the Country President don't have any power in-game, and the congressmen and the Country President don't receive gold for their medal. The dictator does receive 50 gold for his medal every month.

In the eNetherlands we officially have the Dictatorship System. So we have a dictator (ElGorro) who is the only one that can change the laws in-game. But we thought of something different: Our dictator follows the orders of the Country President or the congress. And ElGorro also donates the 50 gold from the dictator medal to the state every month. So in the end we have the Democratic chosen parliament system, but with a 'fake' dictator.

But why that 'fake' dictator, if the Country President and the congress function as normal? Well, just for safety. As long as we have ElGorro as dictator, who promised to follow the Country Presidents commands, we are protected from other coups from other (foreign) dictators.
