[MoHA] Vote For The Story Competition Winner!

Day 3,128, 09:37 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by eUK Home Office

Here in the Ministry of Home Affairs we have been running a small competition to try and get a few people publishing interesting articles. It worked! 5 people managed to publish stories relating to planes - which the admins are introducing into the game in the next few weeks. This means 12.5 gold is up for grabs and you, the public, gets to decide who gets it.

As per the rules, three of the entries would be selected by the Ministry of Home Affairs. Every Single One is great, but we had to choose three. Each is shown below. Read them all and comment with A, B or C depending on which one you think shown win the competition.

A. A Good Name For Our Plane

There once was a Plane
And we shall give it a name
What would be a good name
For this marvellous plane...

B. High in a Plane

Group Captain Woldy glanced out the right handside of his cockpit. ‘Messersmichts’ he thought to himself. ‘More like Messertwits’. He howled with laughter. Two years commanding an RAF squadron in the North Sudan had left his mind and sense of humour sharper than a camel’s aim during wet season, and his defiant sense of purpose and dignity lead him far from relying on profanities to make a quick joke. This, if nothing else, was evident...

C. Plane Stupid

Our dashing hero stood and admired his work.

He stood a little more.

What a great job he'd done laying that shag pile carpet in under three hours. He was chuffed, and the new beige sheen given off by the furry phenomenon brought a small manly and heroic tear to his eye...

Read all of the stories and comment to say which one you think should win. Voting closes after 2 days, and the winner will be announced in a follow-up article - when we will also reward the winner. The Ministry of Home Affairs will have other competitions over the rest of the month so stay tuned.

Thanks for reading,
The Minister of Home Affairs,
CheetahCurtis
