Why you vote:

Voting is really quite simple when it comes down to it, and is an excellent way to help your party and country, it also gives a free experience point. Voting is vital to an active country and ensures that we keep momentum and interest as a country.

Congress:

(Or the House of Commons as it is known here) constitutes 40 seats which are divided among the different regions in the eUK. The congress’s job is to vote on proposals put forward by congress members. So you should always try and partake in a party’s mobile voting scheme to give members moving ticket’s to vote in less populated regions and make your party more influential. These elections are held on the 25th of every month.

Presidential elections:

There is also an election for the country president (or Prime minister in the eUK) every month, a party will choose to either put forward their own candidate or back a different candidate. These are the most important elections in the eWorld and having as many people as possible vote on them is vital to an active community, most people vote depending on who their party is backing but you can vote for someone else if you wish so watch out for manifestos. These elections are held on the 5th of each month.

Party Presidency:

There is one more kind of election which is the Party Presidency election, this is to determine who will be the head of your party and make the really important decisions, you are free to vote as you please on this so be sure to read manifesto’s on the forums or in game. These elections are held on the 15th of each month.

How to vote:

On a Voting day you will be notified by the events reminder by a button that can be clicked and will lead you to the voting page. Here is a step by step guide with images. Excuse the small images, but you should get the point.

Then you simply have to click the vote button next to/below the person who you want to vote for.

Blue: voting button

After you vote, the total votes so far and percentages are seen. You can only see this after you vote, unless you look at the election page through an organisation account.

In presidential elections this will look slightly different, but will work the same way.

And there you are, you are now fully equipped to vote in the future, remember that voting also gives you an experience point and helps keep an active country, so be sure to do it whenever you can!
