[MoH] What is the MoH and how can you help?

Day 1,792, 16:29 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Ayame Crocodile

Hi there!

Now I’m sure you’re wondering what the hell is going on, the return of the MoH wtf right?

Well you’re correct and I’m extremely happy to be able to announce that after a short while, where it seemed perhaps it might have been put on the back burners, one of the policies in Talon Karrde’s manifesto that I really liked the idea of is now being implemented, even more so of course that I get to be the one who gets it rolling!

This is the Ministry of Health. The Ministry will aim to find investment for active new citizens via donations and connecting those willing to offer loans with new players wanting to further themselves and the eUK Economically.

With the Economy Module in such a state it’s already a struggle for many but for new players it’s much harder. Many find it hard to complete their Daily Orders let alone start saving, so I’m determined to try and do what I can to help as many new eUK’ers as I can!

The Ministry itself will, as stated in Talon’s Manifesto, be run on a revenue neutral basis, this means that we will not be using tax money and instead will rely solely on donations.

good guy greg is onside!

I believe that the best way to go about organising donations for loans would be through a pledge scheme. The idea here is if you are willing to pledge money to help new and active eUK’ers in need that you pledge your donation with via this Google Doc Form: http://tinyurl.com/mohpledgeform

Rather than just donating money and having it passed on, this way when a loan is granted the pledgers required to fulfill it will be contacted with the Loan Recipients citizen link and the loans details as well as how much to donate.

This means that the individuals generous enough to donate will be fully recognised by those benefitting rather than just having a little thank you at the end of an article, which will still occur anyway of course!

It may be wishful thinking but I’d like to say thank you for your time reading this and especially if you are able to help a new player find their feet!

For the time being I will only be publishing information for Pledgers, but rest assured a Grant/Loan application form is complete but will not be published until a couple of pledges come in. Watch this space!

And one last Thank you for the road,
Ayame Crocodile,
Minister of Health
