Current MoFA Mood

Serious Business

First of all I would like to thank everyone who voted for us and curse those who didn't and I hope we don't disappoint you.

Now, one of the main request I've noticed from eUK citizens over the past is more information from MoFA. However, from my current 3 day's(ish) experience as MoFA I've learned that there isn't a lot to say. Sure, we get lots of PM's and talk to other countries but trying to pick out the things that are relevant and that eUK wants to know is pretty hard.

So to try and counter this problem I have a proposal to eUK. If you ever want to know anything about an event or our current relations between us and another country then all you have to do is message me here. Any and all request's will be responded to in the next article.

Notable World Event

Some of you may be wondering what all the fuss about was with SK (South Korea) and RoC (Republic of China or Taiwan). The full explanation can be found here.

Basically what happened is an MU in SK did more damage than necessary when SK MoD had no orders or CO's for this battle. Therefor SK did not officially break that NAP. However RoC thinks otherwise and started setting CO's and MoD orders against SK. This led to the official break down of the NAP and as there where no other "real" wars active everyone where more than ready and willing to jump in and help SK or RoC. This led to many epics and entertaining posts on my friends feed.

What I've Been Doing

Just before I became MoFA I spent a few hours piecing together a suitable message to spam to our allies (most haven't replied). The aim of the message was to relay as much information about our government as possible but as simply as possible so I don't confuse the players who don't speak English too well.

Upon becoming MoFA I sent as many of our allies (that I could remember) the message and replied to any I received. After I complied a list of all possible MPP's during the course of our term. The one's we will/won't be signing this term are still up for debate.

We have also been in contact with USA and France to make sure that we can end the TW's with them as swiftly as possible. And considering this is our first time as a government we have been getting a few communication hiccups. Otherwise things are going well.

We are also in the process of deciding if we should do a pre-approved MPP list where congress votes if they want MPP's with certain countries in advance. this can cut the time it takes to sign an MPP from 48 hours down to 24 hours.

If you have any questions or suggestions please tell them in the comments.
