[MoFA] Interview with the Aurora SG: Lord MdMG

This article has taken a while to publish, complications with the publishing have pushed the publishing date further back. Please note this interview took place a few weeks ago. I would like to thank thedragon one of Belgium's vMoFAs last term and Lord MdMG the current Secretary General of Aurora whom was interviewed.

What morals/ platform is Aurora based off of?
Aurora is based on friendship. We firmly believe in an alliance made of friends and brothers, disregarding the "damage factor" and that's the best of Aurora.

What was included in your manifesto when applying to be Aurora SG?
Well, as I was in the first HQ of the alliance I didn't present an manifesto xD. I just knew I was suitable for the job and took it, and I think the alliance had a good start, that's why I was reelected as SG, so my job turned out well 🙂

Are you opening your doors for new members ?
Yes, we have open doors for new members, however we won't accept all of them. We want to see from a country if they can contribute something to us, not in damage, but in hard work and dedication.

How is/ has Aurora managed Air Strikes from LETO, ProAsteria and Asteria?
I think we've handled well in all of our battles until now. Our military work was impressive, and I hope we can continue on this path. We know we can't always win, but for the moment we are doing things good 🙂

Will Macedonia hopefully get congress soon? especially as many countries in the realm of Aurora are effected by Greece.
We are working really hard on this. From the begining of our term we (me and Don Croata, the SC of Aurora) say that Macedonia would be prio 1 for the whole month. Now we are a few days to see our major goal accomplished.

What military campaigns have had the biggest effect or impact on Aurora?
There were several campaigns that "marked" our alliance: The defend of Egypt against Greece without MPPs, the MKD RW and AS on Australia, Chilean AS on Europe, Ireland AS on Slovenia. Everyone of this campaign had a big impact on Aurora, because we got a lot of confidence, and it show the world that our organization has nothing to envy from big alliances, despite being the weaker side in the current wars.

What is your take on China joining Asteria and Hungary leaving Asteria? How will this effect Aurora ?
Well about China, it won't affect us at all. None of our members considered China as a potential ally for us. About Hungary... is rare, it seems like if they really haven't left Asteria, they just declared that they don't like Romania, and thats nothing new. It would be interesting if they have the guts to attack Romania (I know this would make things harder for them, but you can't solve a problem thinking in the same way as when it was created) at least, making things harder for Asteria, however it seems they're doing the opposite for now, so right now they are still in Asteria orbit, and this has changed absolutelly nothing for all alliances.

How is coordination and communication going with Aurora and Sirius especially in the joint campaign against Hungary?
There is much to improve in this area if we want to put our alliances definitelly over Asteria

If you could say anything to the Belgian people, what would you say?
Belgium is a small, but a cool country. I remember Belgium from times of CoT, and you always stood for your allies without doubting a second. Thats really awesome, not everyone could say the same.

Any other final words?
Aurora is here for show to the whole world that playing different is possible. We chose friendship over damage, and is working well for us. Hail Aurora! Liberty, Loyalty, Dignity!
