[MOFA] eCanadian CP Speaks!

I had a chance to lob a few softballs at the eCanadian CP, Homer J Simpson. These were his responses:

1. eCanada has been under occupation for some time now, how has this been affecting the average eCan citizen?

HJS: Really, it's hard to define the "average" eCan citizen. Some see having congress as a major goal, some like having constant fights available for TP, others are happy either way as long as we don't just give up. In saying that, I believe that most Canadians would very much like to see an end to the occupation. Even though those who have been around a while know that being wiped isn't the end of the world event it used to be, when it goes on for an extended period the novelty does begin to wear off.

2. What, in your mind is the average opinion of eCanadians towards eUK?

HJS: I think most Canadians enjoy the UK as an enemy. I think sharing a common RL heritage allows us to poke fun at each other without anyone getting to bent out of shape.

3. Activity levels in eCan seem to be at an all time low, is there any movement afoot to perhaps sign a NAP with eSpain at any cost?

HJS: The activity levels are linked more to the game itself rather than directly to the occupation. Even prior to the initial wipe activity levels weren't what they used to be. The wipe has simply exaggerated people's frustrations. We are still far from the point of even considering signing a NAP on the terms that Spain demands.

4. If eCan ever does get back on the map, is there any plan to cooperate with your neighbours, in the short term, to provide some stability in the country?

HJS: WHEN Canada gets back on the map we will certainly cooperate with our allies and friends.

5. Asgard is not highly regarded around the eWorld, are there things you as eCan CP would like to do in order to change that opinion?

HJS: Asgard wasn't formed to dominate the opinion polls or to be the next powerhouse alliance. What we have is good and those outside will probably never understand.

6. While Asgard is nominally neutral/pro-CoT, is there any chance of 'switching sides' in the coming TWO/CoT war?

HJS: Not a chance, our fight is with TWO.

7. If you had a message for the people of eUK, what would it be?

HJS: Enjoy it while you are on top, things can change in the blink of an eye. Oh, and good luck in the Ashes series 😛

8. Ireland is currently under occupation, I know relations between eCan and eIre have taken a dip in the last number of months, do you forsee a concerted effort by both nations to try and work together for the purpose of liberation?

HJS: Canada and Ireland have remained close over the past few months. Although this month has been a little quiet, especially since the demise of CUA, I would be more than happy to continue to work alongside the Irish to see both of our homelands liberated. The Irish are loyal allies and good friends of Canada and I see no reason for this to change.

9. Your favourite food?

HJS: I love a good roast dinner, something I do rather well if I do say so myself.

10. Any final message for TWO or the government of eUK?

HJS: Even the greatest empires crumble at some stage. Your time will come.
