[MoFA] Double Interview, Sirius & Comment on Recent Events

In tonights article we will have another double interview, first with the Secretary General of Sirius, Magic, and after that we’ll have a chat with the Country President of Ukraine, Valeviko. But, first of all, we will talk about some news that was published three days ago. We will also comment shortly on the recent events involving the UK.



Sirius - Accepting Ukraine as Trial Member

Sunday nights are usually Sirius HQ meeting time and this sunday was not different. The five countries of Sirius, United Kingdom, Poland, Croatia, Spain and Turkey, were all well represented. As usual we discussed the state of our countries, our prios and other tactical stuff that is not to be mentioned here. After this, Magic brought up that Ukraine had been mentioning they wanted to join Sirius, after a bit of discussing the core voted and decided that Ukraine will become Trial Members of Sirius starting July 6. Why did Sirius Choose for Ukraine to enter into trial membership for Sirius?

Well, they had asked about it because of their BB and we had a talk on alliance channel during one of our weekly meetings. We decided that the best for Ukraine itself will be giving them trial membership so they can establish proper diplomacy which is really important in international politics and help them involve into full member of Sirius if everything goes well in 3 months.

What do you think Ukraine can bring to Sirius?

I hope that Ukraine will bring some fressness. They are really young country and I am only afraid if their babies will be active and let them create really good diplomacy, there are lots of countries which lack it and they lose a lot because of it.

Has Sirius got its eyes on any other Pro Sirius members that might have the chance to enter into trial membership in the upcoming months?

For now, not.

What would Sirius expect from Ukraine as a trial member of the Alliance?

Well, we except them to behave like full member, we want them to show us that they can bring lots of good things into alliance, that we can count on them, that they are active and cooperative. We also want them to care about other members of alliance, because that is important thing which is fullfilled by all members of our alliance at this moment.

Have you got anything else to add about Ukraine and Sirius?

Well, I hope that in 3 months a SG which will be in charge will come to me and say `It was a good decision, Ukraine is a great country to be in an alliance with and I am really glad you gave them this opportunity´.

First of all, can you tell me a little bit about yourself and your Erepublik career?

I'm 30 years old. Working head of retail business at one of the IT networks. I have a wife and two lovely children. I love to watch football 🙂 My political career started when I was offered to lead one of the political parties. Cause it was doing bad, but I was able to resurrect it and bring them to the first place in the ranking of parties. Then there was the first tenure as president, then work in the Cabinet of Ministers of different cadences and farther and farther.

A few weeks ago Ukraine had a babyboom, how are you doing with keeping the new players around?

To be honest, those who made this BB could not keep these people in the game. Now we are trying to save those who are still with us, to help them in the correct development of Account and upgrading training centers. Also, each party and military force is trying to help with every hand. Very much hope that this is not the last BB. We have big problems in the country in the real world, and many are forced to defend his country against aggression Russia. I hope for a speedy solution to this situation.

With Ukraine becoming trial members of Sirius, what are your thoughts on Sirius?

Most members - our friends and brothers. We have been cooperating for many months. Ukraine's accession to the alliance - a logical step. I very much hope that the trial period will be shortened. Our nation is waiting for it.

How do you think Sirius will look like in two months?

Now a lot of talk about that Sirius has all chances to stop their activities. I believe that together we can prevent it. We have to do are all possibilities. Just need to stop to pull the blanket over ourselves. This is a problem all the great alliances are troubled with and may result in decay.

Last of all, what is Ukraines general publics feelings towards Sirius?

I already wrote that many of us are brothers.To be honest, we were slightly disappointed that we will need three months to gain a formal entry. Our people say, "Are we done so little to this? Really need some more probation?". Be that as it may, we are pleased that the alliance decided our inclusion, but we will try to become full members before the trial period is over. And God help us.



To finish this article off, I’ll speak briefly about the Argentinian and Canadian attacks.

First of all, if the FA department would have published every bit of information or leads we get everyday, we would most probably ruin 90% of our plans. We spoke to Argentina Officials last week already and we have been in contact with the Canadian government as well.

Therefore, we advise everyone that is not part of the Foreign Affairs Department or the Cabinet to not try to solve this on your own. We are doing all we can to resolve the issues that has been caused and to make sure we keep United Kingdom free.
