[MoD] Victory Day! Report For The Past Few Weeks

Dear citizens of UK,


The victory is ours! After liberating ourselves, the evil forces wanted to wipe us again, keep us subjected and get the border with Poland... They achieved none of that. The war ended, they got kicked out and all campaigns ended with us having the initiative.

Time has come for the MoD team to give you detailed report for the past few weeks, ever since I became MoD again. How much government money has been spent, what has been achieved and what are our plans for the future.



After our Dear Leader Aleks, Aleksandar V. Popovic, got impeached I was sacked from MoD and during the next week UK got attacked and wiped by 4 different countries, Canada, Portugal, Brazil and France, with another Asteria country landing in Ireland, China. Furthermore, Sirius was dissolved, making the situation for us even worse. Our (unelected) government started talks with all sides involved. Many things have been offered to UK, from applications to different alliances to NAP deals. However, none of those offers were sincere and in the interest of the UK. Let me explain to you and the general public our main Foreign and Military Affairs mantra:

"You leave us alone, we leave you alone."

and if in any case someone does decide to pester us, it becomes:

"Both eyes for an eye."


Another words... If you want our crap bonuses and regions, you better get ready to pay A LOT OF MONEY to keep us down!



After I got into the MoD again we executed a plan on 3 continents which not just brought back UK and Venezuela on the map but also took away half of Portugal's regions. All of their precious bonuses that they held in South America were lost as well as direct route to the UK, in Newfoundland and Labrador region in Canada. In the same day we successfully liberated regions from Portugal, France and Brazil and immediately started Natural Enemy law. We won 7 out of 7 battles that day and Portugal lost all of its occupied regions in little more than 24 hours, hopefully learning what will happen to them again if they decide to strike at us.


So to sum up Portugal's gains/losses:

BEFORE THE WAR - 13 regions
AFTER THE WAR - 7 core regions.

France was kicked out the following day and Brazil lost two more regions through Resistance Wars in UK. Then we got contacted by Asteria and were told that Brazil is not interested in all of our territories but only our southern region that borders Poland so they can attack them. We were then offered NAP talks with four countries the next day if we stop all hostilities towards Brazil. Despite Poland letting us down twice (applying to Asteria and voting down NE again Brazil), we were not ready to betray all of our allies. This is not how UK works. If we can't be free, we'll give them hell and make their stay as costly as possible. Which is what we did... In the next following days we liberated regions held by Brazil in Venezuela and UK. We lost the MPP battle against Brazil in East Midlands due to tremendous support they had from Asteria and LETO countries. However, time was on our side because Brazil was gaining regions slower than we were liberating them and soon they were brought down to four regions.


To sum up French gains/losses:

BEFORE THE WAR - 6 regions
AFTER THE WAR - no regions (due to US invasion).

Now we come to the point when Canada decided to go back against their word yet again. Despite proposing a NAP deal to our MoFA NWG, and agreeing to it, they declared us as Natural Enemy the next day. They say they did it at a request of Brazil who needed the help against us. We were facing a complete wipe. Brazil made a demand to keep 6 of our regions and to get a border with Poland. Needlessly to say, we declined and continued liberating regions through resistance wars. However, time was not on our side anymore with two countries advancing. So I immediately started contacting different countries that could potentially AirStrike Canada and/or Brazil. I contacted Italy about possible Natural Enemy law. They refused the offer after long 3-day talks. Long story short, Croatia was the first one to accept to AirStrike Brazil and then help their ally Ireland get rid of China. I wish to thank again Croatia for this as well as all of you citizens of UK, for donating food and making it happen in less than 24 hours. It took hours of negotiations before Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) also accepted to AirStrike Canada.

In 24 hours, the British Isles were liberated and in the following days, China was also kicked out of Ireland.


To sum up Brazilian gains/losses:

BEFORE THE WAR - 15 regions
AFTER THE WAR - 6 core regions and millions of CC spent (as stated in their MoD report).

When it comes to Canada... Oh Canada. Who knows what will happen to you? I sure don't. You're too unpredictable. 🙂

Who did we help so far?


MoD has actively helped and will continue to help all countries that are our allies and who we have signed MPPs with, by giving them prios, setting CotD for them or even placing Combat Orders (CO). We have placed CO in crucial rounds in battles for:

Belgium
Bulgaria
Chile
Croatia
Estonia
Italy
Ireland
Lithuania
Mexico
Poland
Thailand
Venezuela


Some of these campaigns were lost, most were won, however, help to a friend in need is what counts the most. This and future governments will continue with the tradition of helping out the countries that need it the most.



What are the plans for future?


As you know UK is not a member of any alliance and this government intends to keep it like that for as long as possible. We wish to continue with our neutral stance while respecting MPPs we have. However, the number of MPPs will surely reduce over time not just because of financial reasons, but also because we would like to concentrate our resources to most devoted allies.



What can our current/future allies expect from us?


Loyalty is number 1. We do not budge under pressure. Secondly, it's our unselfishness and willingness to help even when we're in a very bad situation. We've shown that time and time again in the past 2 months. Thirdly, the readiness to spend a great deal of resources if we see we can make a significant change in any of your crucial battles.



How much government money was spent in the past several weeks?


Out of 60,000 country currency that was at disposal for MoD, 10,000 was used and the other 50,000 was returned to country treasury. The rest was private donations.



What about UK regions held by allies? How long will that last?


Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) expressed their desire to stay till Congress elections and this is the least what we can do for them to show them our gratitude. Croatia will stay here for as long as we need them. It's the best if they are here until it's clear what will happen next on the international stage. Certainly cheaper than to ask them to AirStrike someone again. They have shown as more than allies once they decided to help us out like that and to have their interests intertwined with ours.



I wish to thank all of our allies for the help they've given us. Special thanks go to CP Cro Ronin and volk 1975, as well as Ministers of Defense of all of our allies. I also thank my MoD team that consists of Adastros, ilphen and Jude Connors. Without them, all of this would not be possible. In the end, I thank all of you, citizens of UK, for following MoD orders, and thus increasing our reputation not just among our friends but also our enemies.
