Hello Ireland!

How about that conclusion to the first round eh? For those who weren't watching, let's give a quick look back:

MATCH ONE:

The first fighter to enter the ring was Johnny jnr, of the Irish Army. Johnny could hear fans chanting his name before he even entered the stadium. He was a favourite to win the match, and stood in the center of the ring for a good minute before the next competitor entered.



Mossy Hayes entered the stadium. He took off running down the ramp with a gleam of victory in his eyes. As he jumped into the ring, Johnny Jnr clotheslined him right out of the ring and eliminated him. The fans went crazy.



When management saw the annihalation of the previous competitor, they decided it would be best to send the rest at once. Mlickism, Epson Ning, dePeatrick, and Felrisen all took off running down the ramp. Unfortunately they all turned on one another before they made it to the ring, and were all exhausted by the time they entered the ring.

Johnny Jnr went into a crazed rage and threw each of the competitors onto one another in the corner of the ring. He took off and body slammed them all at once, while Felrisen somehow chilled in the background saving his energy.



They all collapsed and went unconscious from the slam. Johnny Jnr pushed them all out of the ring easily and Felrisen was the last fighter left. The two fought for a good 20 minutes, and towards the end of the match, some fans had lost hope in Johnny Jnr.

But he pulled it off. As Felrisen went in for his special move, the airborne dive, Johnny rolled out of the way, causing Felrisen to fall on his face, out cold. Johnny picked Felrisen up and threw him out of the ring, making him the champion of the first match.

RUNNER-UP:
Felrisen - 250cc, 25Q7
Irish Airborne Brigade - 1pt

NEXT MATCH:

The next match is underway. Only the Banshee's nominated a D2 fighter for this round, so once again many were the highest scoring in their MU for the previous week.

D3 NOMINATIONS

All week, MU commanders may nominate up to two D3 fighters for their MU in next week's match. The Commander must comment in one of the tournament article's comments by next Tuesday. Best of luck to all the competitors this week.
