[MDP] The Ascension

As mentioned by Muglack in his article. He has asked me to become the next PP of our glorious party. I'd like to start by thanking Muglack for his contribution to our party over the last two months. He will not be able to completely retire, as he will be on the Military Council this month.

For those of you in the Party who do not know me, I am a long time player who, until now, has successfully avoided serious responsibility. My experiences have run the gamut, from Congress and Cabinet to running an MU to being the nations #3 most hated troll. All these things are in my past now, however, as I embark to carry on from Muglack's efforts to ensure that MDP is the pre-eminent party on the eCanadian political scene.

In-House Comms

To start with; in order to ensure that I am hearing, and perhaps ignoring, all the voices of the party, I am creating a roster of Commissars. The job of these Commissars is to take charge of PMing 10 members of the party (one page on the in-game party roster) to give the masses the 'heads-up' so to speak, and allow these 10 to have a mini-discussion group. The Commissars will then be involved in a group-PM with the Military Council. In this PM thread, all these various opinions will be brought forward to better educate myself, and the council, on what the party is thinking on any given issue. If the position of Commissar is something you think you'd like to do, please PM me and tell me why you think you'd be a good fit.



Congress

Congressional elections are fast approaching. I want to continue with have a mix of old and new blood, so if you feel you can contribute to eCanada's political sphere in a positive way, please PM me. I will entertain all entreaties from the oldest of oldfags to the n00biest of noobs, so please, if you feel you are ready, willing and able to contribute, PM me.



Military Council

The usual suspects will be on the MC this term. If anyone is wondering 'How do I get on the Council?' It's simple. Impress the hell out of me and the rest of the current council, and you can bet you'll be included in the future.

Conclusion
