[Lion 4 CP] The Manifesto

I've written several political manifesto's during my eRepublik’s life for myself and also for the others; and I've read many more. I know very well how cloudy and idealistic the idea of writing a CP manifesto in eRepublik is. So unlike certain others *who are trying to sell you a fog in place of the sunny weather* I'll keep it short and sweet and will try not to bore you much.

1. Dictatorship:

This latest game update introduced by the Plato is kind of confusing to me and to many other people playing eRepublik and I really don’t like it. It brought chaos in some of the countries of the New World.
But particularly in eBelgian case, there are some positives and also some negative side effects of it.

The DISADVANTAGES of Dictatorship:
Lost gold from the Congress elections; which is due to the Congressmen.
All decisions are made by just one single man – the Dictator.
Dictators have practically all the power in the country. They can single handedly pass any law except for the CP impeachment.
The access to giving away Citizenship’s is blocked.

The ADVANTAGES of Dictatorship:
In the event that a foreign enemy decides to take over the country; in the first place it must successfully start the revolution and then later a Military Coup. And if the Military Coup ends in favor of the attackers; the Dictator takes charge. The current Country President doesn't have a right to do any actions in the organizations when the Dictator is in office.
All decisions are made by just one single man (and here I am thinking and talking of about the voting)
There are no rouge Law proposals.

2. Economy:

We've lost quite a bit of money in the war with Montenegro as we’ve been wiped for some time. But overall eRepublik economy is just continuously heating up; by keeping your expenditures higher than your incomes. I find it ridiculous to see some well educated people coming up with big economic plans and their manifestos, but they usually mean nothing. The core principle of the economy in this game is just like in real life, and it comes down to "don't spend more monies than you have". Period and out.

3. BNA:

In a small country like eBelgium having National Army represents national pride for eBelgians, but whether it is really necessary and fully effective to have it, I don’t know frankly. I am satisfied to see some very active private MU’s and even would investigate the possibility of subsidizing them in some way. The more private MU's means more competition between those MU's and although they are not of the same strength and their battle damage is not of the same intensity; this gives certain sense of fun.

4. Alliances and MPP’s:

I would eventually launch a public poll with the question whether we should create better bonds/alliance or a possible MPP with some of the bigger and stronger nations in eRepublik (like eChile, ePoland, eUK etc.) or not, if the answer is negative an NSPP or an war ongoing country will be contacted for one MPP.
This referendum will be a public referendum (so everyone will be able to see who voted what and count the results fro themselves) and it will be made in a similar way to tommot’s monthly newspapers contest (meaning you will be required to give your eRepublik link when voting).
Important side note: Only eBelgians will be able to vote for this.
Depending on the results, I as a CP will act accordingly; meaning I'll stick myself to the referendum results.

5. Immigration:

I strongly believe and support personal freedoms. The Administrators gave the Congressmen the In-game rights to invite people, therefore they should exercise that right fully and freely.

So, that's it. In short with little to none vague promises. Just like me in reality. Straight to the point. When I read some of the CP manifestos of my adversaries, I can't help but noticing all the enormous nonsense they are posting, amongst filled with idea's and promises of which even the smallest child from crèche knows that they are not workable and not feasible in reality. Not My aim is a simple, humble and efficient Government that won't fool you, that will respect your freedoms and will not come with some fancy idiotic ideas.

And before I forget it or leave out.

I solemnly promise as a Country President:

- To support the only and true Dictator of eBelgium; Jofroi also known as “the Kabouter”. Why am I calling him “the Kabouter” you may ask yourself, because he is so tall and big fella; I can’t call him “the Giant” obviously.
- I will rename eBelgium into “Belgowafflepralinebeerbloise”.
- I might launch an Air Strike attack on eChina, eRussia or eUSA, depending on the day of the month or the current weather conditions outside.
- I might steal the money from the Treasury eventually.
- I might ban Konrad and Phaemita the Apostate from the posting on the Forum definitely.
- I might drug the drinking water supplies to make sure you all remain tame and obedient sheep’s.

All of these above *might* be a joke, except for the Konrad’s and Phaemita’s part. Lol. Have fun.

P.S.

This Manifesto is not entirely and originally my work; I edited and adapted various pieces of written and published text for this purpose and this occasion.
