[KJ4CP] A "Short" Introduction to me and my CP Run

Some of you have probably already heard, I’ve decided to have a run at the Country President spot in the upcoming elections. I will during the coming days publish several articles explaining the ideas and what I will do during my possible term in the hot seat.

Although, this article is only a first announcement and I will only outline a few of my main ideas that I and my team will be working on, and introduce myself briefly.



I will start with the introduction, tell you a bit about my history here on Erepublik, the experience I’ve gained and how that will help me through a possible term as the CP. I promise, I will try to keep it short!

I came to this game in november 2010, first I wasn’t that into pretty much any part of the game, except the UKDP, which was the first party I joined and there was a good group of people running that party back then. Sadly, it gradually disappeared, along with my activity. Until the fall of 2012, when I joined The Legion, there I got introduced to the life of running a Military Unit along with some great friends. This also got me into my first job in the government as deputy Minister of Defence, a job that was very overwhelming, but at the same time taught me a lot.

The spring of 2013 was probably one of the most interesting times in Erepublik for me personally. I joined the UKRP, was elected as congressman three times and, my dearest friend, mittekemuis introduced me to Foreign Affairs. I started out as a simple ambassador in april, worked my way up to get a deputy position the following month. Which, along with the resignation of Thomas765, led to a promotion halfway through the month. My own opinion of that term would be that I was very stressed and did an average job, not surprising I think. At least I did a good enough job for Mr. Woldy to let me continue as Minister in june, turned out to be another hectic month with a lot of learning and creating relationships with other nations.

After a few months of less activity I was in January of 2014 once again elected congressman and since february I’ve been in the government every month holding numerous different positions; deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Minister of Education, Vice Country President, and twice as Minister of Foreign Affairs, and that’s only in the United Kingdom. In may I was chosen to be the Deputy Military Commander of Sirius, and has since been a part of the MC team, setting orders and discussing potential plans. During this month I am also the Deputy Minister of Defence in Turkey and Deputy Secretary General of Sirius.

All of this, with the variety of held positions and my contacts outside of the United Kingdom will certainly be a great asset to myself, the Ministries and to the UK. I will spend as much time as possible helping out the new government members with creating relationships with other nations just as I have already done.



Main Ideas

Finances
Due to the robbery of the UK’s funds this term, I will be trying to gain as much cash as possible during my term and will work closely with my MoF to come up with further ideas on how to do so.

Alliance & Allies
Lately Sirius has seen great success, with a new trial member, gaining control of all three of the gold mines that was the prize of the last tournament and freeing several members from their oppressors. I will also encourage closer work with proSirius nations and create better relations between the nations. This is where my knowledge and relations with other nations will be used to our advantage!

Mentoring
I like the idea of getting new players into the government and I will encourage everyone to apply for a spot in my cabinet. A lot of new members of government doesn’t get the proper introduction or mentoring that they need to become the best they can be, therefore I would like to have a Ministry of Education that is highly active in mentoring new members of government to achieve their absolute potential. This will be done in cooperation with all the other ministries and myself.
