[JL4CP] My vision on the government

My fellow countrymen!

Exactly 947 days ago, I took my first steps in discovering the many aspects of this game. I was eborn in eBelgium, but I am also a RL Belgian. that's why I love this country twice as much! I started my early political carreer in ResBelgica, which was, at that time, one of the biggest - if not the biggest - party of eBelgium. I have stayed in Res Belgica for quite some time. It was there that I became congress member for the first time. But after a while, I started to create my own vision on eBelgium and it's future, a vision that the party did not share at that time. So I created my own party, after several take-overs, I finally managed to establish myself as leader of the party. I have candidated very often for president back then, but as the Belgian Labour Party (that was the name of my party) was a small party, I never got elected, although I do have some experience in certain ministries. As to be expected with smaller parties, people who did not have good intentions with the party and our country formed a serious threat. Out of love for my country, but with pain in my heart, I shut down the party. After that, I have had a time of two-clicking. But now I'm back! I have joined The Belgian Dream as I believe that together, we can create this dream!

But now enough of this emotional nonsense this man is speaking...

The time has come that our country needs a change, and it all starts with the government!

It is obvious that things in eEurope are not working the way they should be working, with wars leeping around the corner, threatening every nation. The problems we are facing do not only hit us, but they also hit the rest of the eWorld.

I have created a government form that is quite different from the ones we have seen before:


Ministry of Home Affairs

* State Secretary of Forum Activities

This Secretary of State regulates all the government activities on the forum, the voting and debating process, forum games, guides...

* State Secretary of Migration

This Secretary of State regulates the migration in our country. It will keep clear statistics on the matter and this will also control the application form and citizenship requests. It will also be responsible for Honorary Citizenships and such. My directive to this Secretary of State is to research the possibilities of a new application form and a special application form for tournaments and such. People could file a speed request and add the reason why it is urgent, and when inspection says it's ok, then their case will be treated first.

* State Secretary of National Security

This Secretary of State is in control of the inspection of citizens who are inside our country and citizenship requests. They would also identify potential threats, exterior as well as interior.


Ministry of Foreign Affairs

* State Secretary in charge of the Enhancement of Foreign Relations

This Secretary of State would assemble a team of advisors with whom he will investigate the possibility of a potential new alliance in Europe. A closer international cooperation is necessary if we want to overcome certain threats endangering our existence. This goal is to unite and restore Europe. This Secretary of State is not only responsible for eEurope, but must ensure
our relations in the rest of the world as well.

* State Secretary in charge of the New Ambassador Program

Where the State Secretary in charge of the Enhancement of Foreign Relations focusses mainly on Europe, this State Secretary will also focuss on other parts of the eWorld. The New Ambassador Program will not be a reboot of the old program, which was highly enefficient. This new program will make the ambassador the formal representative of the government in the rest of the world.


Ministry of Information and Public Enlightenment

* State Secretary of Press and In-Game Communication

This Secretary of State will be in control of all the government communication in the press as well as on the newsfeed. Not only will he control the state communication, he must also try to stimulate the privately owned press. In-game Communication will be in 4 languages: English, Dutch, French, and German.

* State Secretary of IRC- and Forum Communication

This Secretary of State will be in control of the government communication on IRC or on the forum.

* State Secretary of Education

This State Secretary will be in charge of the Education Program. He must research the possibility of a political academy, where players can learn how the game politics work and what they must know in order to be a 'good' politician.


Ministry of Defence

* State Secretary of Governmental MU's

This State Secretary regulates the MU's that are under government control. It will decide it's organisation and will advise the MU's. They will also look into the possibilities of a military academy, where players can learn the military aspect of the game, and from where they can start a military carreer.

* State Secretary of Non-Governmental MU's

This State Secretary regulates the MU's which are not in control of the government.

* State Secretary of Operations

This State Secretary will determine the DO and will advise MU's to set these DO's.

* State Secretary of Military Supplies

This State Secretary regulates the supplies which will be granted to the MU's: which MU's will recieve supplies and to which extent.


Ministry of Finance

* State Secretary in charge of Economical Research

We will conduct a research into the taxation system. We need to improve our income, but still stimulate our own economy whilst also
protecting it.

* State Secretary in charge of Citizen Supplies

This Secretary of State is in charge of the supplies (like loans) citizens can aquire.

* State Secretary in charge of National Bank

He is the boss of the NBB-BNB. We will try to work out a special program where people can put their money on a savings account, and the government will be able to use that money during a certain period of time, and when that time period is over, the people will get their money back with interest. See it as a form of
government bond. If succesful, this will ensure us of enough money/gold to invest in the different programs. This State Secretary must investigate the financial
sustainability and possible ways of execution.


Ministry of Justice

* State Secretary of IRC- and Forum Regulation

These will incorporate the already existing functions on the forum in an official government position. They will control if the existing laws are observed, and
they have the power to propose new laws on Out-of-game Communication when necessary to accomodate the needs of the time.

* State Secretary of In-Game Regulation

He will be in charge of the In-Game rules and must enact them.


Each minister will be able to propose his own vice-minister, and each secretary of state will be able to assemble his own research team when he is put in charge of a research project.

This cabinet would be able to give at least 23 people a job, without counting the possible vice-ministers and research teams! On the other hand, many people would get to have some experience due to a political and military academy.

As it is a large cabinet, filling in all the posts is a rather tough job, so if you feel interested in a government position, please PM me!

Invest in the youth, for they are our future. Whoever possesses the youth, possesses the future!
