[I&W] Welcome new Citizens

Day 2,292, 11:18 Published in Netherlands Netherlands by MaartenW

Maarten reporting in from a small house on a mountain in Fließ, Austria.

It seems like the Netherlands has been having a rapid increase of new citizens last week, in eRepublik terms this is called a "babyboom". We don't have a lot of real babybooms in the Netherlands which is a pity because we could use the extra manpower. This is why I would like to ask you; Where did you come from? From another browsergame, a forum or did you just come across eRepublik somewhere on the internet? Please leave a comment because we are really interested 😉

I think I would be a rather bad party president if I wouldn't try to convince you to join Iron and Wine so here are some reasons why you should do that;

We are currently the only party that monthly publishes a program with relevant / specific goals.

We care about the opinions of every single member, everyone is free to contribute to the party program and all main party decisions are first discussed on our forum.

Our party is fair,(congress) positions within I&W are given based on activity, this doen't mean you have to be online 24/7 but it simply means we want you to communicate and show your face in debates, if you don't want to communicate and just want to work, train and fight that is fine too but I hope you understand you shouldn't have a leading position in that case.

If you posses the ability to make an informed and independent opinion it is certain you are going to make it far with our party, 16 of our members have been Country President which is a lot (compared to DemNL who got 7 and GPN who got 5).

We are real community players, Iron and Wine is known to bond with its members. If you like to interact with other players we are a good party for you and we would gladly see you on one of our communication platforms. We don't only speak about the game there though, if you want to know something about liqueur I suggest you ask Garmr who considers himself a kind of expert on this subject and if you like fish ... you won't anymore after spending some time in the same room as Tim V.

You might be wondering why our articles are written in English, well this is really simple not everybody in our country can read Dutch and the Dutch are known to be able to read English and we don't really like our articles to look like a Belgian governmental announcement, Annonce du gouvernement Belgique, aankondiging van de Belgische regering. People that are unable to read English and don't want to make 3 clicks for a google translate aren't the people we aim for anyway, these persons should definitely join Hollands Glorie which stands for the preservation of the Dutch language in eRepublik.

Best regards on behalf of Iron and Wine,
MaartenW
