Join the new world

An alliance is a political and military formation which should be based on good relations and not just pure interests. Unfortunately as I see currently this is not the case, and at the top of that it seems like it's impossible to change on the current World order. There is only one alliance, Asteria and its 'subsidiaries' We could say that forming an alliance is pointless now, becasue CO killed them, well that's true, but let's hope.



But what the future holds?

In the last half year or maybe more, I heard a lot of opinions that Asteria will fall apart soon, but it's not happening, their memebers feel good, currently they are superior, even if some of them may just there for their interests, and protect this superiority for themselves.


Could this state changed?

Well, obviously yes, but not with the current circumstances. First of all the countries who didn't join that branch should get their shit together finally, but at the other hand at the (pro-)Asteria side some kind of break should happen to end their domination. Without some countries taking upon themselvs to start something new, probably we will stay in this situation forever.

Personally I really hope to have some change in the eWorld's political scene because first of all it's dead boring, and I like this Asteria side less everyday.




But what about Belgium?

A little and weak country, at a very good strategical point. Probably these are some of the worst things a country can have in eRepublik. Despite this, I belive that the maintaing of the relations with the good old allies, and friends is the most important, and try to hold out for them too.


Should eBE ever join an alliance?

Probably it would be hard to even try to join one in the future for these problems I mentioned, but if the formation of an allieance is at the sight which has our real friend and we are not just drifting with the tide or looking for being with the winner side, probably the answer is yes.



In short it's my opinion which is rather obvious for everyone by now, but I want to know your thoughts too, so please don't hesitate to let me know.
