[H.A.M.M.E.R.] A Great Place To Start

If you’re new to the Military scene and Republic in general, you’ve no doubt been bombarded with offers to join any of several well qualified Military Units.
This is my attempt to persuade you to join S.H.I.E.L.D. And to get your start in our H.A.M.M.E.R. Training Regiment.
Why? Because S.H.I.E.L.D. and the H.A.M.M.E.R. program are not just ANY Military Unit. Let me explain.



Firstly, eRepublik is primarily a War Game. Despite what others may say, it is a fact. There is a strong Political Element to the game as well, but most of that occurs outside of the eRepublik site. That’s a discussion for another Article.



This is going to sound weird, but while you are training, we do NOT want you to fight. You are to build up your Strength and upgrade your Training Centers. This way, upon completion, you will have used all of your earnings to make yourself the BEST soldier possible. If you adhere to the strict H.A.M.M.E.R. guidelines, we will GIVE you EVERYTHING you need! Just like the RL Military. You’ll get your 3 hots and a cot. And YOUR National Government offers additional resources such as: BU2SU (Bank Up 2 Strength Up) and STW (Stack the Wall). All of these are ways you can improve your eCitizen Soldier.



No doubt it can be boring just doing the minimum amount and clicking a few times in game. That’s where things like War College, NFLB (No Fed Left Behind) missions, Joint Strikes and other special opportunities come in. You will hear more about these opportunities while doing your Weekly Roll Call and receiving your Daily Orders.
