[Feds] CONGRESS: A Danger to Society? More at 11.

Day 2,925, 09:48 Published in USA USA by Paul Proteus
Goodbye Blue Monday brought to you by your corporate sponsor: being asked to write things

So, Congress, that time when tens of people worldwide look to the elections page of eRepublik with bewildered apathy, waiting to see which arbitrary assortment of known people is selected to argue over taxes and the budget.

As of late particularly, Congress has been inundated with hostilities, inanities, and confusion, as certain members abuse the forum to make their own personal points, putting themselves ahead of the country.

That's why I'm putting in the effort to write this. Also I was asked to but it's honestly like 50/50. We desperately need a congress that understands that Country>Party>Self, we need a Congress that takes itself at least somewhat seriously, and we need a Congress that actually functions as a congress and not an anarchic asylum.

The candidates the Feds are running, from Fed veterans who have been contributing to this country since before the Dinosaurs were banned (fun fact: T-Rexes multied like hell), to new players being given more opportunity to act constructively on the national stage and members from 6th Parties who are vital to our national conversation, are simply some of the best people playing. Our roster is one that will restore sanity to Congress.
