Except if you were in a cavern during these last 3 days, you probably know that dictatorship status was added by our “beloved” admins.

Following that, several countries launched a military coup. I won’t talk about all of them but only those who caught my interest

If an admin is reading my article, I would like to suggest to add the name of the military coup leader or revolution one in that kind of campaign. It should avoid to look after who potentially launched it.

1 - Current Attempts

Germany

I admit: I didn’t read their medias but I contacted their cabinet.

My contact was Higter (current German Governor) and he told me the military coup is leaded by people from Argentina who are mainly in a “PTO MU” called “Der freud starb” who means “the friend is dead”.
ID of that MU is quite recent (higher than 4800).
However, German government has no idea what could be the final goal of that MU (maybe make germany a colony).

Hopefully : this military coup should be solved soon and democratic side of Germany should win.

South Korea

Few things incoming from south Korea (and I don’t hide that Korean isn’t easy to read for me). They are under a military coup and earlier. Earlier, those who are trying to control them opened a supply channel and asked for help (when south korean authorities used CO) When you checked their campaign, you saw several romanians on dictatorship side

Most probably : another try like in eSwitzerland, unlike there, Democracy should be save

Denmark

Following an article of their MoD, several people from Argentinians (again ?) created a MU there and are trying to take over Denmark. The current coup is supported by current danish government and the goal is obvious to avoid Denmark used as colony.

Italy

Latest country involved in a military coup : Italy

Unlike most of countries : Italian CP told me that it was Italians vs Italians and not Italians against a foreign try to control them. Following him, it should be a group of rich italians players who are looking to have more power After reading an article there, MU who launched military tried to sign many strong players to follow them and most probably giving them supplies.

Italian government position is clear : we support democratic side.

Currently, the campaign seems tied and too early to say who could win.
If you want to help Italian democracy, the best thing should be to join the following Military unit (official italian one) and fight for democracy



2- Serbia

Probably the most interesting country

Shortly after the announcement to transform a democracy into dictatorship, Serbia was one of the first targets.

Trico (famous chilean player) announced that he was interested to be Serbian dictator and published an article where he explained his goals (mainly : manage Serbia as a private company). With his newly MU based there : he attracted lot of people from several countries (almost from every country opposed to Serbia).

Following that, Serbian government decided to launch itself a military coup to try to keep power. This try was clearly supported by their CP

Once it was the campaign started : Serbian government asked to fight for dictatorship when those who are opposed to Serbia fought for democracy side.
Serbian goal is quite clear : bring dictatorship to try to keep power and avoid Trico to have a try.
Following some shouts from him, it is just a delay before his arrival in Serbia.

Dictatorship side lost the campaign and one of our famous citizens : Skenerbeuu was very active in D4 where he won 2 BH but also the CH (he made more than 1 billion on a round)



3- Bulgaria

From what I heard, I didn’t thought to see a military coup there. However, I found an article (written in bulgarian). On that one, it was explained that it was a kind of exercise to show what dictatorship is and try to prevent about a future and hostile try.

Dictatorship side won and the current dictator is their current CP (ko3ata)


4- UK

Another country who surprised me on military coup. I thought that current country president was well installed and no huge risk from an impeach. However, that military coup was launched by current UK Government (main members of their government are on the same MU)

UK CP published an article where he asked to fight for the dictatorship. For him, it isn’t an attempt to seize power. He apologised to not talking about that sooner and there is a potential threat from foreign groups on his country. For him, once the dictator will be in place : it will be for the shortest time, after that : a revolution will be launched and eUK will be safe during 10 days.

During that time, his government will work on a long term strategy to avoid any further threat there. However, some of his citizens have doubts about a potential foreign threat who could take power there.

5- Switzerland

For those who don’t play since lot of years, eSwitzerland never had an easy life and most of the time : it was a PTO group who leaded it until a democratic ATO group was able to kick them. In more than 5 years of Erepublik, I stopped to count how many tries they had and how many failed.

This time, via some shouts, a romanian group is suspected to try to take power there.
It isn’t the first time there is issue between a romanian group and Switzerland (there was already one in 2011 or 2012 where the CP was able to change most of their MPP).

No real surprise here, the dictatorship side won and Unixi (romanian) is now the swiss dictator.
However, a huge arrival of romanians came in Swiss and I shouldn’t be surprised if they easily receive their citizenship.

So, Switzerland will probably be a romanian colony soon and their leave from Root shouldn’t be surprise.


6- Canada

Few things to do say here.

The first one is that the military coup was supported by their government and the idea was to install Rylde as Canadian dictator.
Canadian government said the idea was to protect the democracy because following last Plato’s idea : small and medium countries could be a target for hostile dictatorship

The dictatorship side won the campaign and Rylde is now the first canadian dictator.
For those who don’t know him : Rylde is mainly focused on war, I shouldn’t be surprised to some campaigns involving Canada on the following days or weeks.


7- Netherlands

The military coup was launched by their government and placed Garmr as Dutch Dictator. Like for several other countries : they claim it is to avoid to have a hostile dictatorship.

However, Garmr is also linked with USA and following what I heard from several contacts : he should be in favor to see Netherlands closer than USA and why not joining their alliance (Pacifica).


8- other countries

UAE

They are our neighbor but almost nothing to say. Just : their MoFA is now their dictator. I tried to contact him but he told me that situation isn’t easy in UAE. We shall see what will happen

Romania

Elbandido is now their dictator and he published an article here (Romanian only)

Slovenia

A well known slovenian (colonel bruce) has now full power there.

India

I tend to think there was a try but democracy side won

Bolivia - Republic of Moldova - Saudi Arabia are now turned into a dictatorship
