[ DoT ] The Return of an Icon!

Day 2,897, 16:39 Published in USA USA by ScottCoyleSr

 Hello again America it's Scott Coyle, Sr. with a weekly ( well 5 days ) update for you on the Status of the Department & Portal. Please hold all questions, comments and praise until the end of this article! Anyway jokes aside with the release of last weeks article the portal experienced one heck of a boost, to simplify the data the article was released on Wednesday and the stats for those two days experienced an increase of 300% & 450% respectfully, so I decided to put out at least a weekly article to see if it was merely the "Introduction" or it was a more common occurrence and because if I don't Gnilraps will beat me severely. These are the pages that have received an update since the last update 5 days ago:

Archives/Gnilraps
- Media List

Departments/Media
- Media List

 If you are still not quite familiar with or are new to the portal then your first stop should be the sitemap page which gives you a complete overview of all the pages on the portal.

 As for Stat's well that's a whole other beast as I am using a program that shows quite a bit. It goes as far to show me a map of recent visitors, an hourly summary ( and a weekly emailed summary ) and just so much more it's best if I just show you:

 With all that information it's going to help the department and I make the most viewed pages updated a higher priority then say a page that doesnt get too many visitors; the expectation being that really only the archived pages will be left to last on the list. Never the less and without further adue here are the stats for the last 4 weeks:

Red = Decrease from Week Before
Green = Increase from Week Before
T = Total Count
A = Average Count

 As I mentioned earlier the program also gives me a map of all the visitors to the portal and just because it's awesome I figured why not share it with you all:

 Of course there is a bunch of North American & European Visitors but there have even been people from Brazil, Georgia, India, Israel, Pakistan, Philippines and South Korea. The one on the equator is an error, sometimes that happens. The reason all of this is now available to us is because I am paying for it. Why you ask? It's simple if parts or portions because useless and never visited then there is no reason to continue to update it if no one has viewed it in over a month. It's about productivity and priority!

 The National Archives Program Protocols are in full swing as the Congressional Elections for the month have been completed, within the next couple of days the department will be hard at work updating all the information so that if you want to know who the Speaker of the House ( SoH ) is or whether or not a member of your party has signed in you'll be able to quickly look at the sheet and make some noise to get that lazy bum off their hind and get them to sign in. As of the Publishing of this article only the last 6 months have been completed.

 Thanks for checking out this article and I really appreciate all who use the portal. If you come across any errors or want something added then please send me an in-game message and I will happily make the correction/addition as quickly as I can. Before I sign out for the night and hit that evil publish button I wanted to give you a brief insight into another project that is making a return ...

 If your planning on running or know who is please keep the department and I in the loop so we can accurately keep each candidate updated. An in-game message with the links of all your campaign & endorsement articles will be a big help in keeping it updated as quickly as possible.
