[Deputy MoFA] Send in the Ferrero Rochers!

Day 1,524, 06:45 Published in Ireland Ireland by James Keiller

As recently announced by Minister for Foreign Affairs, columbia, I have been appointed Deputy MoFA with responsibility for the Diplomatic Corps.

Prior to this I was Ambassador to the United Kingdom where I made a tremendous impression on the local population, being variously described as "only 9/10 on the retard scale" and "a likeable potato". As a direct result of my charm offensive, many prominent eUKers are now actively fighting against the Serbs to suppress Resistance Wars in Northern Ireland. A wonderful step forward.

I will be sending a PM (+/- a friend request) to each of our Ambassadors over the next day or two to touch base. Ambassadors can prove to be a great asset, keeping Government up to date with developments around the world among friends and foes, building a network of contacts abroad and sometimes giving us an edge in the prosecution of war.

At the present time there are many ambassador posts which are unfilled. I now call upon anyone who is interested in serving Ireland as an ambassador to please send me a PM or leave a comment below. All that is required is a willingness to post a short report in the forums once a week. Beyond that you can choose to immerse yourself into life in your host country as much or as little as you wish.

It is an ideal opportunity for new up and coming citizens to cut their teeth. It is also a reasonably hassle-free way for some of our semi-retired elder lemons to continue to make a contribution to public life.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank columbia and MUFC92 for offering me this post. I have been a severe critic of the MU Funding initiative lately, perhaps aiming one or two blows below the belt at times. It is a measure of a mature society that we can be have our differences yet still work together in common cause.

For those of you who don't get the Ferrero Rocher reference, my apologies. What is seen can never be unseen.

Sincerely
James Keiller
Deputy MoFA
