[DemNL] Our Congress Members report!

Day 2,711, 14:08 Published in Netherlands Netherlands by Mattio

Dear citizen,

Another month has passed for Congress and new elections are due a few days from today. No better time than now to check in with our Congress Members to see how they did! First, DemNL Party President Spir Tus would like to express his feelings about his kanjers.

The spiritually supporting Spir Tus
(Party President Democratisch Nederland; Vice-Minister of Home Affairs)

When the new congress term started on March 25, we knew it would be an important month. We decided to give some new party members a chance to run for congress and some old active ones. With a nice balance between young and old, all active and with a great dedication to do their best for our country. I'm very proud and they did a fantastic job. It was a month with a central role for the dictator issue. That's why we had people running for congress who were willing to contribute on this subject and help find a solution for our dictator issue, improving the dictator law and choose a good and neutral dictator. In the end, it went well. But it isn't done yet. Next month will also be important regarding the dictator issue. We have to see what works and what doesn't and adjust some things in the law according to this. Just like last month, we will have a great list of candidates again. They will do their best to serve our country the best they can.

The diligently and appropriately adverbalized Lancer 450
(Congress Member, 19th term; Minister of Defense)

This month in Congress has been quite interesting. While under the new Dictator module, the Congress has been limited to essentially no in-game powers and within the Congress we have been working hard the past few months to ensure that the new module is working the best that it can for our country and in order to preserve the democratic system that we unanimously support. After a long discussion with several great candidates, we have finally appointed our new Dictator, ElGorro. I believe he was a great choice for this position and that he will act diligently and appropriately as our new Dictator.

I hope to be elected this month so as to be able to continue to serve the interests of the eNetherlands in the Congress and to provide another voice and perspective to discuss with fellow members of the Congress and Government concerning the many issues and decisions that we will face in the coming month.

The thirteen-in-a-dozen Willem the Conqueror
(Congress Member, 12th term; Minister of Foreign Affairs)

Another month has passed, a lot has happened since the beginning of this month. We have seen several dictator votes, laws that had to be added because of this new feature, and lately the vote on who is going to be our dictator. We have also seen a semi-permanent MPP debate, and recently a debate between our Vice-President and Congress Member Lancer450.

I hope to get my 13th medal this month, oh that doesn't sound good, number 13. But yeah, I hope I will get through the month than. 😛

The media horny Mattio
(Congress Member, 10th term; Vice-Minister of Recruitment, Coaching & X/S)

This month has been a very important one. The people decided they wanted a neutral dictator and it was up to Congress to decide who this had to be. It took some time and the debate really wasn't easy, but in the end I believe we did a nice job in rewriting the law so we could implement a good dictator, which is almost accomplished now. I am glad to have been able to help in this task and I believe I did a good job, but I want to continue doing so because I don't think our work is done yet!

The dauntingly honest Jordic
(Congress Member, 5th term; Vice-Minister of Defense)

This month, a lot of things happened, and a lot of mud has been thrown. Some important matters have been discused, but most them became a war between different parties/factions. It is sad to see how some people prefer to attack other people instead of discussing and I get done of this during this month. Despite of all that s*it, we are still trying to solve the dictator issue, a very important one in my opinion, but to be honest, all candidates are amazing and would do a great job. We have also been talking about the MPP’s and with whom should we sign them.

To be honest, I am not running to do anything concrete, I just run to fill the spot, because this month we will probably have 40 Congress Members, I already told this to SpirTus, so I'm on the list just in case and to not let in suspicious people, but every active player who is willing to participate will be in a better position than me this month, for sure.

The big-something-promising Legendardisch
(Congress Member, 9th term)

It’s been almost a month that I am a part of DemNL after leaving I&W. This month has been the continuation of the usual mud throwing, sadly, but the hope is that this will decline to one argument per month, the begin is there.
I just voted in the most important votings like choosing a new dictator. For the coming month I plan to do something big.

As you can see, our Congress Members have done their best at serving our country in the past month. DemNL wishes nothing more than to continue the effort they made in the next month.

Can we count on your vote?!

Sincerely,
Democratisch Nederland
