[CP UPDATE] Mission Accomplished

My fellow citizens,
Since my last article Ireland has embarked on her most dangerous and risky campaign in her whole history. I am very happy to announce today, that the reward of our boldness has been achieved. I would like to take this time to thank everyone who fought for Ireland be they Irish or the many, many allies who came to our aid. At times we seemed like an infinity of inferiority against the most dangerous nation this game has to offer but we stood united and achieved something of pure and true inspiration, today is a day that I am proud to call myself eIrish.
Although many of you still ask why we invaded Poland, I am saddened to say that I cannot disclose this information just yet (although I suspect most of you know). After the talks broke down we were left with only one alternative to ensure my primary objective of forever protecting our Irish sovereignty. The hard part of that plan is thankfully behind us but ahead last more challenges toward our objective, it shall be the policy of this Government to drive forever forward and push through those boundaries.
The past 48 hours have been very stressful leaving me quite sleep deprived, the plan relied on swiftness which I ensured by staying logged onto the IRC for a complete 24 hour period rallying our allies and scrounging together scraps of ammunition for our boys to fight with. I would like to say, as dignified as possible, that during this experience I felt deeply angered by the mindless and pointless aggression of SHM who taunted myself, my country and my Government, whilst also critising the alliance that dedicated troops to an Irish long shot. I have never been more appalled nor saddened by any eIrish citizen and I would formally like to request that SHM seeks an exile from Ireland and moves abroad.

I would like to see people who say false things in the media get reprimanded for it just like they would in RL.
Many people in eIreland including myself have been a victim of this so called "politics" of political spins, mudslinging and sometimes outright lies.
Sadly these tactics(which are even being used in the comment section of this article) often win a vote, but only ever create division in eIreland.
Anyone continuously mentioning something that Padraig did in the past should seriously consider their own mental health and actual motives to playing this game.
eIreland is winning as Padraig as it's president, eIreland right now is getting noticed again and earning greater respect as Padraig as our President and eIreland is progressing at a faster rate than it has for several months as Padraig as our president.
The lad spends a full 24 hours on his PC and ye're trying to swing it into a debate on his commitment or good work for the country? Along with the international attention we've got?

You are not the victims of slander, mudslinging, and OFTEN outright lies, but the perpetrators, covering your mates' theft, treason, manipulation and lies.
And of course I will stay, solid as a rock. On St. Patrick's Day I wrote: "From now on my single and only goal in eRepublik is to serve this proud and free country well!" And this is when I'll continue to do, regardless of the amount of pathetic trolling, never proven lies, all the dirt this clique - who have betrayed, robbed and suffocated this country, this community so many times - would throw on me.
Ireland won nothing. For a short-term success to give a quick facelift to our government's weatherbeaten image - eIreland has turned one of the strongest powers of this game against herself. It will surely have a cost - a cost we are sooner or later to see.
You've been promised 18 regions. What you'll get is at best a lifeboat to be on the flee somewhere in the US. Remember then, who are responsible for that.

Giving out about what goals were set on the CP election thingy... Is there a noobier or more irrelevant argument? Even the noobiest most naive noobs won't go for that one.
Of course goals were set for the noobs - even so the British PTO collaborator could only gather 40% of the votes - the weakest support any president had for months. Manipulation, empty promises, blatant lies, slander, limitless self-appraisal and excessive trolling. That's the way you do it.
And of course, you can bark but you cannot bite. You've driven away so many good and loyal citzens from eIreland. Time to stay and stand up against your dishonesty.
Its a fallacy that we have driven away Poland, Stranger. You keep going on about providing weapons to Polish fighters, but we have given Serbian Mercs weapons before now to fight the UK. With such a large country as Poland (Or Serbia) , you will always get people willing to fight for us IF you pay them.
Poland was in the same alliance as us, EDEN - then they left. They picked another side. A few of us who served with Polish MoD while they were in EDEN, still remain in contact but while we have personal friendships, there is always the understanding that we are on different sides. Given the international politics, will remain so.
When the UK was neutral, Poland helped us. When the UK became Pro-ONE, it was against their interests to help us. They now have MPP'd the UK. While the UK is PRO-ONE, Poland would not help us, while the UK is PRO-ONE, we cannot be.
Not that I would want to be, but doesn't change the options.

However most Poles fighting for us(and there still are Poles fighting for us) is most likely because of the new Merc Medal.
You said that we would be wiped by Poland, yet we have not been. You were wrong, way off, as usual. If you think that wiping Ireland or keeping us permanently wiped will ever be top of Poland's to-do list then you really are an even weaker e-Republik player than all of you nonsense to date had led me to believe.

Who has doubted the success of helping to kick Poland outta eUS? I'd have loved if it had been surrounded by even more fanfare and sure PP, AC and Chance added to the atmosphere.
PP's term is friggin crazy awesome militarily so far, but when he trolls SHM and there's the possibility others would refrain from voicing their opinion, then the hypocritical nature of his trolling (which is what makes it so successful 😛) needs exposure.
