[CP] Potential of the Netherlands

Day 5,147, 07:36 Published in Netherlands Netherlands by Het Catshuis

Dear citizens,

I hope you find yourself well during the coming Holidays. Certainly in eRepublik one should find himself in a good place, considering the relative freedom of the eNetherlands and the ample opportunities to make use of the current Winter Challenge. We've created a Division 4 and Division 1 Epic for our fighters so they can accrue as much PP as possible. Don't forget to finish (or at least as much as possible) the Weekly Challenge that has lucrative rewards. Don't forget to exchange the received gifts and use its contents (PP boosters!) either.

Following up on that - despite the plethora of epics and Training Wars for a country our size - it has been noticed that yet a few significant citizens are often missing out. While it is of course to be expected that the cadre of extremely active citizens with Maverick packs - such as Fmcv, SpeeD94, Shawtyl0w and BlackWidow9 - will rank significantly faster than others, there is no reason to not strive the same even without such packs or activity.

This graph ranks all citizens above 200 000 strength (more or less the lower limit of when it makes sense to bother with land fighting at all). We do have quite some for a nation our size, especially a few that are around the top strengths of 300 000 strength. Yet the diversification in actual ranks often differ widely. If someone that barely touches 200 000 strength outranks people that have outstanding strength levels of 300 000 one is playing the game wrong. If you are outdone in damage every week by the same persons it should follow that things can be improved significantly both for the eNetherlands and the individual.

How come?

* If one has high strength, it makes no sense to drop most of your energy into air battles. Not only in the interest of the eNetherlands, but individually as well. After the rank of Wing Commander additional effort in this branch pale in comparison to the significant individual improvement that can be achieved in ground damage with a high level of strength.

* If one has high strength, it makes no sense to not 'tank' a bit on the first day of the week and use most energy the remainder of the week. Provided one can log-in a few times a day to drop excess energy, the lost Energy Bars will come back through the Weekly Challenge - besides the extra energy to gain gold and cc through Battle Heroes and True Patriot medals. This in turn can be used to buy stuff during sales, packs or the Power Spin.

* If one has high strength, it makes no sense to not use the epics we create at the beginning of every week. Our 2 Legend XX Jordic69 and Weekstrom often bleed more than they have to, so others can rank up quicker. A free D4 epic should be utilized by everyone - for the rank points, True Patriot money and to get a nice start on the Weekly Challenge and energy regain.

* If one has high strength, it makes no sense to fight in foreign (epic) ground battles. Since the Armory/Protector update fighting in foreign battle does barely anything for damage output for your own country besides the little improvement in rank. You will improve your protector bonus for the foreign country, not the eNetherlands. Fighting for the eNetherlands also leads to significant more damage and therefore ranking points. If one is not yet maxed out on protector points for the eNetherlands, it is therefore recommendable to not fight for foreign countries at all when there are Dutch alternatives.

* If one has high strength, it may be worthwhile to get packs (Maverick or Power Pack!). This doesn't necessarily require the spending of real life money. If one fights often for the eNetherlands with True Patriot money or has significant production, it is possible to buy at least a Power Pack with in-game currency. There are sellers that will sell to eDutch people for a good price.

While we can't force anyone to be extremely active, following such simple guidelines will significantly improve your account. People like Ynotna or MafCeez are good examples of players that have a relatively high rank besides not being on Telegram and such. Meanwhile top-strength players like Zeeuwsmeisje and Djirtsdew can do better. As always, the active community of the eNetherlands is there to help you, be it in-game or on Telegram.

This is not meant to be scolding of anyone. Yet the road ahead is a difficult one, as our current comfortable position may not be a permanent one. Foreign adversaries are likely to come back sooner than later even if we take precautions that will make it less likely to occur. We also have a debt to pay to countries and people that were here during hard times to help us out.
