Introduction
Well many of you by now will have seen the NE proposal against Ireland and must be wondering what is happening? And what is going to be happening over the next few days between the UK and Ireland.
The Beginning
This all started when an Irish citizen wrote an article seemingly with agreement from the Irish government trying to poach players. This is a deeply unrespectful act which cannot go unpunished. Cheeky lil Irish.
NE Proposal
As a way to highlight my dislike at the article I proposed a NE against Ireland. Seemingly the majority of Congress approved my decision and have voted in favour of the NE. However this propsal has not met the 66% needed to pass. This still shows that the UK will not be disrespected and will stand up for itself.
This also had the added advantage of making Apples publish an article and almost have a heart attack.
The War
Now there are several problems with the war. The primary problem being we can’t actually have one. So that’s a shame.
However the eUK will defend its honour and will be officially challenging eIreland to a War of the minds. This will involve a Chess competition against the eUK. Bring it on Ireland we will battle with our minds.

1. You asked congress to approve it "supported by the CP and broadly the main CP candidates".
2. They haven't approved it yet.
Needs 66% approval which means that at 25-13 you need one of the 2 remaining voters to vote 'Yes' and to avoid
one more 'No' vote.

UK proposal times out in under 7 hours
Eire proposal times out in just over 8 hours
On conclusion of those proposals the game will check if a valid border exists and as todays MAyo battle will still be active for a minimum of 4 hours beyond the conclusion of the proposals you either have a situation of;
A. UK has NE'd and can either stack their battle into Mayo and a war commences with UK initiative if Ireland retains the region.
B. UK NE fails, Ireland NE passes and Ireland have at least 4 hours to attack N.Ireland and glory over a United Ireland before beginning a push into Scotland, NEoE and Y&H.

Accusing UKsF of acting out of character is funny, and you expect people to believe you're in talks. The difference is that you can have fun whilst also knowing how to play, instead of making everything painful because that's more important than having fun. It all comes down to is this rl or a game.

We can't have war because five of our six regions are in use according to agreements with other countries, so I can't let UK to make mess in Ireland. Theoretically yes, I could attack UK before Croatia takes Mayo but I won't since it was me who asked them to stop this war. I am not against war but we can't just start war without consultation.
Maybe more productive to consider disassociating your government from the individual who wrote the article. Sacrifice is a messy business, but everyone loves lamb.
I approved that article, maybe it was silly from me, I didn't tought about the consequences. MeDs Leinad is one of the best persons in Irish community I won't disassociate from him.

Sometimes the best thing to do is put your hands up and say "Sorry, I fucked up" rather than dig a deeper hole for yourself.

Our CP is useless, so don't even bother...
When i am CP we will be waring with who you want to be waring with. Want to start a fight with a country halfway i will somehow make it happen. Zaphod says that he will share the wars. Do you want your neighbour you dont like waring when you only can sit back and watch of course you dont.
Like I said before , tried this a year ago and got wiped.
