[CP-AUS] Day 30 - Thank you all!

Greetings eAustralia!

We arrived at the last step of the CP term and is therefore time for regards.
Hoping that the other articles that preceded this have been sufficient to keep up to date citizens, I put here more superficial text about matters of the month.




ECONOMY

The minister in charge, Dread Pirate Hobbits informed us about a 200k CC surplus than the initial amount. This depends by several factors, in particular:
- Limited number of MPPs;
- Speculation in the monetary market;
- The unusual increase for one-day-only ago of the incomes from tax (probably causd by mass-use of old working tickets).

Economic updates that were expected by us for the beginning of the month, was implemented (partially) in the past few days. The ministry has started a discussion among all the players interested to talk about this changes. Articles have been published to advise the wait in the placement of the Holding Companies to avoid unknown pollution percentages to preserve your companies bonus. Seems not a bit issue for our country, except some rare cases with the pollution bitly over the region bonus. In any case it's always a positive bonus and is surely greater than the previous bonuses before the Resource Wars.

There are a number of proposals to use any additional revenue for:
- Tax cuts;
- Used in activities aimed at the growth or the fun of the community;
- Some others, you can read it all in the last Productivity Commission Report.




FOREIGN AFFAIRS

The minister in charge, Rusty D, has worked to keep active the MPP which are useful to the involved countries. Closing to the new governments elections, he started some threads to evaluate some regions renting from neighbours to increase production bonuses where it is possible. Unfortunately, the timing of these updates give us not so many chance to try real action of this kind.

A bit back, with some problems after the first TW try with New Zealand, caused by only 2 regions available to manage it that give us closed border/NE in some days, we managed to have a good part of the month an active TW with them, with the possibility of continuation for the next month, if deemed appropriate and advisable by next governments of the two countries. Minister also work with other coutry to manage another TW if will be needed (renting project can cause the end/open of some TW).




DEFENCE

The minister in charge, Thedillpickl, published consistently battle orders using the DoD newspaper. There was no need to manage any defence or attack, so it was a pretty quiet month in this role. The waiting for economy updates has certainly contributed to the quiet in the eWorld. The absence of real battles is something that we can't dislike, just remember to be ready for any needs.




ASIO

The law that regulates it exists, but in fact an attempt to keep this alive doesn't seem to have given great results. This month we haven't received much CS requests, if we exclude those of PTOers Turks players, with only one player (known IRL by one of our trusted senator), who obtained citizenship after a consultation request into the Senate thread.
Personally I think it's possible to improve the law signed earlier this year, but this requires the participation of all to improve the discussion about it. Unfortunately the first try shows us more the bad face than the good one, this make a sense of distrust by many players and everything has stopped.

The attempt of Political Take Over (PTO) by some Turks players engaged us in a series of actions and discussions in the Senate and with the game admins. Currently there are 8 high-risk players with Australian citizenship (4 created here by the Turks banned previously and 4 joined with CS given to them by the first 4). It's not to exclude the presence of other new citizens of Turkish origin, given the honesty of some people even in an online games. Be active and care of your country.
There's a long debate in the Senate of all possible counter measures and the results of these will pass into the hands of the next government.

Thank you once again for your confidence. Surely, but this is something always true, I could manage it better. If ever there will be a second chance, I hope to offer something in terms of information and entertainment for the community. I hope to repeat this in a more quiet month because I like a lot home affairs.
