[Beaver4CP] My goals, part 3. Social Cohesion, Immigration, Security

Thirdly, I will introduce you my social program which goal is to improve the social cohesion in the eBelgian society. And also my projects for immigration & national security.



I’m in favour of the consolidation of our Welfare State. At the moment, we only have some gold loans (rarely & not publicized) & the Young Citizen Packs. I think the State should release a bigger budget to help citizens progress better & faster in their elives. For this purpose, I will improve, launch or reactivate some programs like Boost Your Strenght, the gold loans, etc. I will explain how I count to do this in my Finances article. Young players will be helped a lot but there will be programs for others too.



I want to promote the newspaper dynamism & quality with grants for quality articles. We will also formalise a tutorial on this & organize contests. The medias are an important part of the game & the can offer us a real dynamism &, moreover, informations that can only be seen on the forum for the moment.



In the same spirit, our national forum has a major importance in eBe which I want to reduce that & reduce the gap between forum addicts & non-addicts. People shouldn’t be forced to read dozens of posts to know what’s going on in eBelgium. The Government communication will improve that to make the forum become a second arena for people wanting to talk and not the first arena, overstepping the game.

Then, I will explain my views over immigration & national security.

About the immigration matter, my opinion that eBe is a small country and could benefit from the arrival of foreign players. Refusal shoudn’t be the rule by default. I propose to change our immigration law to make the process easier & as safe as is it today.



At the moment, it takes 5 days to tell someone whether or not he can become eBelgian. It’s a lot of time, without explainations, & lots of people feel rejected & disgusted. If we accept them in the end, they are less happy to became eBelgian & can have resentment against our country. I’m in favour of a system where if a certain number of Congress Members vouch for somebody, he will be allowed; the same if X Congress Members think he could be an asset for eBe.



I want also to create a form like the one I created for Young Citizens Packs which candidates should fill out even if there’s no Immigration Officer connected. Each CM or Member of the Government could send the link to this form to an applicant.

About National Security, I think that lots of people thought in the past that we should protect ourselves from an interior enemy. I prefer to concentrate our efforts in the gathering of intelligence over the other nations’ priorities & making a report to Congress. The MoNS shoudn’t be a shadow & lonely warrior. During my term, we will be more interested by the external dangers & work on the social aspects to improve the relations into the eBelgian community.
