[AThompson] What will be my choice regarding eKosovo?

Dear eRepublikans,

The eRepublik team made a small sized wonder with the eKosovo poll, and the whole poll issue. The controversy made me think , what occured 3 months ago, last time with me. The idea of adding Kosovo to the eRepublik is the biggest one since the limitation of the donations, from the viewpoint of the developer team. It is risky, it will cause really hard problems, with the adding of Kosovo there will be a new fire pit in the eRepublik, and with the two new countries, a 7 millions nation of the World will be added officially to the game : the Albanians. They can be the next Macedonia, they can be the next great power who will consume their neighbours, and change the balance of the game forever.

There is a chance that the awaited Albanian baby-booms won't occur, or will not be that large. If the Albanians won't come, then the Serbians will as we can already see it in Lipec's article, about the RL publication about the eKosovo poll, and the baby boom caused by them.

The idea of making a poll about eKosovo's ingame status is really nasty, because it is poking one of the most sensitive RL issues of our time.


I'll vote for 'eKosovo is a region in Serbia', and I tell you why.


In this game eSerbia is Hungary's and my biggest allies, I met several really cool people from Serbia : Kistru, Clueless, Baltazar, Kibla, srnica and others. Besides of this anytime while I was active I could ask anything from Serbia or from any Serbia, and they helped as much as they could. In the real life Europe the Hungarian-Serbian relations are not the best there are several issues between the two countries, and there is constant tension between the nations. Besides of it in the game, there is an absolutely friendly, and reliable community.

From the point of the whole eRepublik community, I still thinks that an independent eKosovo could be better.

but

For the sake of the eRepublik's Serbian community, and my Serbian friends I'll vote for eKosovo to be the part of Serbia.





If you would ask my RL opinion, it might be different, but this is a game, where we don't have to stick to our RL choices. In this game eSerbia and eHungary can be the biggest friends, a Polish girl can be the president of Germany.

Anything will happen :

Welcome the Albanians in the game, welcome Albania and welcome Kosovo either as a part of Serbia, either as an independent country.

P.S. Sorry if I would hurt anyone's feelings with this article, but this is a game where you choices are easier to make than RL, but you have to make them anyway.

I think that the poll won't be an honest one, because with or without numbers you can't be sure that the developer team will not manipulate the results. They have the database, they have the power to do it. If they will do it, they will choose the profitable option for them, and I think eKosovo will be added as an independent country.

Ha értékeled annyira a szerbek barátságát, mint én, akkor kérlek szavazz eKoszovóra Szerbia részekéntre, mint opcióra. Nekem ez a játék sosem arról szólt, hogy belekeverjem az RL sérelmeket, vagy problémákat. Akármit csinál Szerbia RL, az eRepen van egy olyan szerb közösség, amely akármikor szükség volt rá segített, amely félretette a kedvünkért az RL sérelmeit. Én ezzel tudom nekik megköszönni, akármi is az RL véleményem.
