Well, I mentioned this idea to several of your slaves/workers/minions with no feedback. Now I will try it this way.

For the past couple of days there's been only one, yes one, article in the top spot in eSouth Africa. Not because it's got so many votes, because it's the only article published there.

And I blame nobody but the Admin team.

Most of our more prolific writers had to go to other countries because of production bonuses etc. With the press module as it is, most just dont bother to publish eSA related articles in a foreign country.

Now let us compromise. Where both players and the eRep team win.

Publishing licenses. Like market licenses. A player can buy one for, say 10g, and he can publish to heart's content in the countries he have licenses for. Another solution would be for said publisher to pay 2g for every article he want to publish in a "foreign" country.
Personally I do not care for the second option. Too much opportunity for abuse/spam.
In the even of spam, the admin team can then suspend or revoke the license for either a set period of time, or permanently. He then have to buy a new license. More gold in the eRep coffers and we get to publish more articles.

If I'm right this could revive the dieing Newspaper module (and you greedy muppets get to make money in the process)
