Let’s introduce the second article-guide for new players: today I will talk about the jobs on erepublik.

To start working in erepublik, first of all you have to search one in the “job market”, which you can find on the job section, between wars and community.
The jobs that you will see are those offered in the country where you are located. You only have to press “apply” to start working for the player you choose. However, you can travel to another country to choose a jobs of a player you know, for example some Military Unit offer a lower salary but give you food or weapon if you work for them.

Choose the employer who offer you more money (cc) if you think it’s reasonable player or an employer you know, so you have a player who can talk with if needed.
Don’t work for people who offer you more money for voting or doing something for their interest: even if it’s a game, the ethic is important!


An important note: You will start instantly working for him or her, but the employer may fire you at any time at their discretion. In the same way, you can quit your job every day and choose another one.


After choosing your job, you have to work (yes, you still haven’t work! 😃 ).
All you have to do is going to the “companies”, in my place section, between home and wars.
Here you will see “my job” and the name and avatar of the employer you choose: just press the button work and it’s done! Now, you have work with the cost of 10 energy but the gain of the money promised.

As you can see, on this page you can also resign the job if you want to search a new one, as I told before.


Another things about the job is the possibility of “work overtime” and gain another time the daily salary with a second cost of 10 energy. To get this possibility, you must activate an house, which you can buy before in the market (usually costs 600 cc) or produce yourself, but the self-production isn’t convenient for new player!
Every house (from quality 1 to quality 5) give you a overtime point every hour (24 per day): with 24 points you can work overtime!

There are two last important things about “overtime work”:

-Your employer can set a maximum daily salary, which could be only the salary of a normal work. In this case, you can’t work overtime (it will appear that you reached the daily limit). The only solution is to talk with your employer about delete the limit but if he/she doesn’t answer or give you a negative answer, the only possibility is that you change your work.

- After employee works Overtime, there’s a “cooldown” of 1 hour during which you can only do “Night shift Works” if you have at least 24 points to consume. “Night shift work” will cost 100 energy if you do immediately, which is not convenient! You have to wait one hour to return to the normal situation of consume of 10 energy.

That’s what appears if you don’t wait an hour (you can confirm or not, so pay attention!):



Tip:
I suggest you to buy an house quality 1 with 600 cc (duration 7 days) if you can do overtime work every day: after the seven days you will gain twice a day your salary, which is really convenient if you have a good salary (at least more than 100cc)! 😉

The job and the training grounds (which I introduce in my first article) are the two important things for a newcomer: work and train guarantee a +1 of experience, a +1 of strength and 1 ghost booster (this is a thing we will talk another time) every day you do it (and a +5 of both in the 5th day if you log in every day).
