What Plato does for money?

Many publications use a misleading or "alarmist" title to draw readers or viewers and I do have a point in doing this. (It's not even the best shit title, I know.)

Please tell me what did you think of when you saw the title?

So Plato puts up new missions and figuratively pokes us with a stick. One of the missions requires me to write an article and as it seems many have done this already, although I will do my best to make one with at least minimal substance.
As I sit here eating milk and cookies, I contemplate the future of this game. I may not be the best analyst, but I damn well know how the world works.
You see over time many have pointed an accusing finger at Plato, because Plato does all he can to get more people to buy gold. Some of them have also realized that servers aren't free and that Plato is against ads on erepublik.
A lot of people have also commented on how boring and uninspired the game has become and how the game is dying.
And they are absolutely correct, however there are a few corrections I'd like to make:
1. The game will die slowly a lot of players, like me, have been playing for a long time. Playing this game has become part of their routine, you may put in only 5 minutes a day, but that's over 30 hours a year and let's be honest you don't put in only 5 minutes a day.
2. Even if Plato doesn't come up with the new economy he promised, he can still produce some bullshit challenge, thus poking us with a stick again.
3. Plato promised a new economy module in six months time - I believe that was over a year ago. So it's obvious that even if this game is to die it will be a very slow death.
Thank you for taking the time to read my article and if you didn't...
