i remember all the talk when a bank hit big big numbers in eve online. it was a few weeks later that the player cashed it all into real money and laughed to the bank with thousands of dollars in profits.

Not saying that will happen here, particularly since the admin has a monopoly on RM transactions, but i cant help but not trust virtual institutions.

if I understand it, you take the money from new investors to pay out the old ones, right?
Even if you invest in companies and make huge profit during this rocket madness, there is NO sensible way you can refund every investor here.

Of course some believe the large numbers-mumbojumbo, and maybe the scheme works until you reach 12 million in funds, and MAYBE some people get the investment back...

But smeeagain is right: Snowball schemes always collapse + investors will be fooled.

@Enyavar, it's basically how the banks work... If we all go now synchronously to request our money, only for the 5% will be available... All the other is fake, digital money which lives on computers and papers.

You apply the simple principal here and you can make it work with a few basic limitations.

@HardCoreRepublican: Banks may have 5% of it's holdings in cash at any given moment and the rest is given out in loans like bonds and mortgages. Banks make money by receiving more money back for the loans than they pay in interest to those with bank accounts who are basically loaning money to the bank.

What is WFG doing to make money? It borrows X from you and then pay 1/20 of X back to you indefinitely. How can it afford this?

@Chochi, If he can make more than 1/20 X in the period with the X you borrow him, he will sustain.

It's theoretically possible but not very likely. Is anyone willing to pay 5% interest weekly on a loan? Other than WFG, that is. I don't think it's a very likely scenario to be making any profit. Does anyone know what he's doing to make that kind of money every week?

If he told you then why would you have the money in a bank?

Of course, it's his trade secret how the cash flows in. But I bet, the main source of cashflow is "more investors"... and theres a limit. I will be surprised if the WFGroup exists one more month. And I bet 5000cc that WFGroup isn't in business anymore three months from now.
Who is willing to take that bet? I'm reasonably sure this bet will be more sustainable for me than investing in WFG now.
