Well the first week of the hockey pool is in the books and I figured Kessel earned his picture on the article even though I despise the leafs.



I made some changes as last week I added up everything manually like a fool and never took advantage of this wonderful thing we call the internet. I got us a free hockey pool site to do all the bitch work for me.

With that in use I changed the way points are added up and tallied. Here is the current point value system.

Oilers are still rollin as they just hammered the Habs.

Gary Huberts all Leafs team is fastly falling. Injury to Goalie Reimer. 4 points collected total for his picks on the night. Plus being outscored 12-1 in the last 2. Only thing to be happy about is Phil kessel.

Chewytaz's Defence picks have all been busts in the goal department as well as his goalie pick of Lunqvist thus far. Its why he finds himself so far behind.

The same could be said for Leo Balzac with his D but Marc Andre fleury with 8 wins is keeping him afloat. Eric Staal is also a bust at this time.

George Beeman is still an Ewok.

My Kid line with the Oil had a quiet week and its why I fell back in the standings. That and Lidstrom is my only defenceman who is scoring. Screw you Kimmo Timmonen.

Irontoaders picks were I thought just all the highest scoring players on the leaderboard at the time. Also the only one who picked Ryan Jones. As an Oilers fan lets hope you know something i don't. collected 8 points for Jones and Pominvilles Shorties tonite.

Alias Vision middle of the pack could move up the standings if his defencemen start scoring more. Also needs St. louis to pick up the pace goal wise.

RoloTahmasee is still a thief and a scumbag.
That and Malkin and Lidstrom having a good week moved him up. Plus one of the few that also picked Fleury in net.

Mansbridge09. Max Pacioretty. That is all. Balanced picks have him in striking distance of a payout next week.

Simon Boucher needs more from Yandle to move up. Quicks 3 shutouts were very benficial.

Treian just so you guys know entered his picks before next games started after last article. Souray, Kane and league leader in wins Lehtonen are gold for him. Treian will slide when Dallas does.

Muglack. You go to hell and you burn. Goals from D and special teams have him at the top. Will be hard to displace. We need alot of low scoring crap games from Vancouver to allow catch up.
