You can see it, written in comments and articles that directly conflict with the Government stance. The people of this great nation are split, divided down the middle. As CoS I am privy to this information they are screaming for but as a loyal cabinet member I am also bound to silence. Am I happy with this, no. But as Chief of Staff there is little I can do.
As the Party President of the Australian Revolutionary Party however, I will not be bound by such constraints. I will not have to idly sit by and watch the nation plummet into the abyss. I will be able to hold politicians accountable for their actions, and Political Parties will be called out on their blatant lies and misdirections.
A party that claims all members are equal, yet revels in the complexities of powermongering.... A party that claims to be for the people but is has its numbers bolstered by illegal multi accounts... a so called new player friendly party who's single aim is to infect new players with lies of the past so that their failed leadership can attempt to retain some form of power...
This is all allowed within the laws of eAus, laws that are ridiculed and laughed at by nations all around the eworld. Laws within laws to create laws and enforce laws... as a multi time Senator, MoD, Cos, CP etc etc I am proud to state that I have never even read the laws. When I was new, I took one look at the pages and pages of documents new players are expected to learn and laughed.
These laws are responsible for our nations lack of growth, new players get trolled by the powers that be, simply because they were not aware of Subsection 2 paragraph 6 line 2...
Simply put my ambition is to lead the Australian Revolutionary Party into destroying this failed system of government and create an entire new set of 'guidelines' Where there are hundreds of pages of long winded crap and nonsense, there will be one simple and easy to follow list.
The Revolution will lead this nation to the simple fundamentals of game dynamics, anything other than that is just batshit crazy nonsense. Those will the power will seek to oppose, they will name us Satan and paint us as the villains. We are the darkness which will engulf all.

Well, despite our differences of opinion in other areas, Larni, I wish you luck with this endeavour. It seems, once again, for all the complaints the past 2 months while I was Inspector General, about the legislation and how bullshit it is, our Senate are sitting idle for the most part once again. 2 small amendments when so so much needs to be fixed or changed, or just gotten rid of, is once again, extremely disappointing. I dont know why I would be surprised, just a typical Senate session.
As long as your Party will actually do something, and as long as it improves the situation and doesnt worsen it, then I certainly wish you luck.

If the laws of eAus had pics like the articles i might actually read them, but at the end of the day we do what's needed to be done, Laws are needed but the red-taped over-done system we have definitely needs a simplistic version, not so much throwing out but a simplistic version that all can skim through and understand, the current setup is just mind numbing 😛😛
My guess is out of our 1000 citizens not even 1 would be able to recite the laws off hand, The 10 commandments were only 2 tablets
well if you wanna change the laws you need to sort out all the brain numbing info in the forum. hell i wouldnt even know where to find the laws amongst all that garbage let alone have the time to spend a week sifting through the damn laws

Perhaps more Senators would amend the Laws if they weren't afraid that Larni (Daenerys) would take each of them to the Inspector General afterwards for more red tape action and discussion.

Most of the "laws"are actually protocols we follow to do things to prevent fighting and general stupidity. A few address very real issues when the game rules fail us to allow us to carry on running the country. Sure we need a rewrite, but we have 5 years of community knowledge to distil.
If you try do it all in one go it will likely fail like all the other 20 times. Piece by piece gets permanent results and overwhelm Senators.

The laws enable smooth passage of decision making. I was party to a lot of law repealing many moons ago. Those that remain are actually useful.
And instead of spewing out the same platitudes Larni make some specific comments about laws you would change or remove. Oh that's right you haven't read them. Get one of your Senators to start sponsoring repeal bills.

Although it may be a good idea, simply repealing every law that has been made in 5 years is a rather dumb decision. I know some of your enemies have suggested it above, but as I am a more impartial observer, can you PLEASE write a list of the most prominent laws you think should be changed? I'm sure no-one thinks it's perfect, but no-one knows where to start. I feel your "revolution" would be much more successful if you got the other parties to help you out 😉

You actually only need to read/know the forum laws if you are or plan to be a Senator. Otherwise, just play your game. I'm RL American too and I own an arsenal of guns but I don't have 100 mph speed limit where I live. : )

" Subsection 2 paragraph 6 line 2" is a fictional reference. The most recent incident referred to was when larni complained that the use of abstain was confusing and that she and senators do not know what the differences were between voting Yes, No or abstaining.
Sadly Larni's ego is much bigger than her level of basic game knowledge.
