TL; DR: 6 Treats = 300 Energy = 3 Energy Bars = 4.10 Gold
6 Treats = 300 Energy = 3 Energy Bars
How much gold would that be?
1 Energy Bar = 1.365 Gold
1 Treat = 50 Energy = 1/2 Energy Bar = 0.683 Gold
6 Treats = 300 Energy = 3 Energy Bars = 4.10 Gold
How did I calculate that?
The Value of an Energy Bar
Currently you can get 10 Double Energy Bars in the Gold store for 39 Gold.
The best price was on Black Friday (BF), when you could get 10 Double Energy Bars for 27.3 Gold, which would give 1.365 Gold for a regular 100 Energy Bar (BF Offer) or 1.95 Gold per Energy Bar (100 Energy) currently.
However, let's take the lower value, just to stay on the conservative side of the Prestige Points Booster value.
Prestige Point Booster Value
TL; DR
1 Prestige Point Booster [3 min] = 540 Prestige Points = 54 Energy Bars.
And what about the Prestige Point Booster?
How much would that be worth?
Well, its value depends on how you use it.
So if you use it with at least some sense, then according to my estimates and calculations its value should be worth at least:
1 Prestige Point Booster [3 min] = 540 Prestige Points = 54 Energy Bars.
How did I get to this number?
Well obviously its value depends on how long is Prestige Point Booster duration. In the case of Winter Challenge, its duration is 3 min or 180 seconds.
And first we need to check how many hits per minute we could make in a battle...
Since one hit takes 10 Energy points, let's see how much energy we could deploy per minute without any boosters, just depending on the weapon used.
So let's check that first, both for the Ground and for the Air battles...
Energy Deployment Speed in Ground Battles
Ground, Q7 Weapon, D4 Overlord : 1800 Energy/min
Ground, Q7 Weapon, RLG-16 Nova: 1800 Energy/min
Ground, No Weapon, X0 Talos: 1800 Energy/min
No matter which deployment vehicle we use, it's 1800 Energy per minute with or or without Q1-Q7 weapons.
The only difference is if you'd want to deploy with Bazookas.
Ground, Bazookas, X0 Talos: 1800 Energy/3 min
Hitting with Bazookas is 3 times slower than with or without Q1-Q7 weapons.
And that's why we don't use it in Epic battles when we use a Prestige Point Booster.
Well, we don't use Bazookas at all if our basic hit is larger than 7400 damage points as hitting with Q7 Weapon is more effective in a battle.
Energy Deployment Speed in Air Battles
Energy Deployment Speed is similar in Air battles as in the Ground battles:
Air, Aircraft Weapon Q5, AI X11 U.A.V.: 1800 Energy/min
Air, No Weapon, AI X11 U.A.V.: 1800 Energy/min
Unfortunately, I don't have any Stingers as I spent the last ones just before they expired, but I would say that they behave similarly as Bazookas, which means its deployment is 3x slower as well, than with or without any Aircraft Weapon Q1-Q5.
That's why we also don't use Stingers in Epic Battles when using Prestige Point Booster as they are just too slow (not to mention quite expensive) and waste precious booster time.
They are excellent choice when there are no epic battles, though, and you are on the hunt for Sky Hero medals, at least if your basic hit in Air Battles is not higher than 1100 damage points.
If you have any Stingers left, let me know... However, it could be that in this point in time there are no Stingers in the whole eRepublik World at all...

Hit Deployment Rate: 180 Hits/min
In any case, we have established that we could make 180 hits per minute when preparing deployment to a battle, either on the Ground or in the Air.
So, on the battlefield you get 180 hits per minute (or 3 hits per second), which makes it 540 hits in 3 min, what is the duration of the Prestige Point Booster in the Winter Challenge.

Prestige Point Booster Efficiency: 13.33%
If you'd use a Prestige Point booster in a regular battle, it would be a waste of the energy spent compared to using it in an Epic Battle, but you would still be able to get 540 Prestige Points, assuming you spend at least 5400 Energy on that occassion and that you don't have any problems with your internet connection. In total you would get 1,080 Prestige Points, of which 540 regular prestige points and 540 Booster Prestige Points.
And these additional 540 Prestige Points would be an equivalent to 54 Energy Bars (worth 73.71 Gold).

Prestige Point Booster Efficiency: 20%
If you spend your Prestige Point booster in an epic battle, that would be much better use of your energy. You would still get 540 Booster Prestige Points, but would get a total of 1,620 Prestige Points, saving you 54 Energy Bars from Prestige Point Booster worth 73.71 Gold and additional 54 Energy Bars from the Epic Battle with a total value of 108 Energy Bars compared to hitting only in regular battles, which saves you a total of 147.42 Gold.
Prestige Point Booster [3 min], 2x Damage Accelerator & 10,800 Energy in an Epic Battle | 1,080/3,240 PP |
Prestige Point Booster Efficiency: 40%
With a Prestige Point Booster and a 2x Damage Accelerator in an Epic Battle you could get more 2x more Prestige Points compared to the case without Damage Accelerator.
That would make 1,080 Booster Prestige Points and 2*1080 = 2,160 Prestige Points from the Epic, and make in total 3,240 Prestige Points, but even so, it's still far from the best use of a Prestige Points Booster.
Prestige Point Booster [3 min], 5x Damage Accelerator, 200% Deployment Size Booster [10 min] & 27,000 Energy in an Epic Battle | 2,700/8,100 |
Prestige Point Booster Efficiency: 100%
And if you used your Prestige Point booster to its full potential, you would want to squeeze in more energy in these 3 min. So, better to spend it with 5x Damage Accelerator. In that case you would need to spend 27,000 Energy, a 5x Damage Accelerator and would get total of 8,100 Prestige Points, out of which 2,700 Prestige Points would come from a Prestige Point Booster.
That would mean that the value of Prestige Point Booster in an event like this Winter Event is at least 54 Energy Bars and most likely 270 Energy Bars if you use it to its full potential.
Btw. you would most probably also need a 200% Deployment Size Booster [10 min] in order to save on time between individual deployments, since they are limited to 5,000 Energy without Deployment Size Boosters and to 15,000 Energy with 200% Deployment Size Booster.
At least so I was told...
I haven't been so patient yet to collect so much energy...
The value?
54 Energy Bars is worth 73.74 Gold then and
270 Energy Bars is worth 368.55 Gold.
So the minimal value of the Gift would be
1.00 Gold +
3 Energy Bars = 4.10 Gold +
54 Energy Bars = 73.74 Gold
= 78.84 Gold
And if we use the Prestige Pointer Booster properly then the value of the Gift goes up to 373.65 Gold.
In CC the value of the Gift would be from 78,761.16 CC up to 373,276.35 CC.
So before you sell your Gift cheaply, think about this and perhaps you could rather exchange it with your friends...
The value is then priceless...
So what have I learned today?
A tip: This is a game for patient players. The longer you wait and the more energy in your energy pool you have, and the more energy bars you collect, the better usage of the Prestige Point Booster...
So in order to use your 3 min Prestige Point Booster optimally, you would need
1 Prestige Point Booster [3 min]
1 5x Damage Accelerator [5 min]
1 200% Deployment Size Booster [10 min]
270 Energy Bars Equvalent (in Energy Pool, Treats, Energy Bars & Double Energy Bars
+
Probably some food,
Perhaps some weapons, but that's optional.
Total: 8,100 PP
How do you stand?
How much is your Energy Pool and how many Energy Bars have you collected so far?
How many Prestige Point Boosters could you use optimally?

For me, I am not standing well at all in that aspect.
I spent all of my Energy Bars today and I had collected 115 of them when the Winter Challenge Started.
My Energy Pool is currently at 2980 Energy Points capacity.
And I am at 26 Prestige Point Boosters and at 8,864 Prestige Points on the first day of the event (Day 5,873 16:30 on 20.12.2023).
And last, but not least important, the Prestige Point Boosters have an expiry date: Day 5,893 23:59.
So the question is what to do with that imbalance between the number of Prestige Point Boosters and the relative lack of Energy Bars and Energy in Geeneral.
Should we buy more Energy Bars?
I am sure eRepublik Labs would want that for Christmas Holidays...
Not me and my wallet, though. It's stretched already too much...
I mean, just for the 26 Prestige Point Boosters collected so far on the first day of the Winter Challenge, I would need 7020 Energy Bars collected.
That would be 18 Hero Pack XL (each one at €99.9) and total price of €1798,2. That could be a monthly salary covering costs of the whole family for a month. That amount is very close to the price of an ounce (oz = 31,1035 g) of real gold, so you could buy or rather invest that amount in real gold... And I'm sure by the next year it will be worth more than this one. And Perhaps eRepublik Labs is doing just that...
Should we use Prestige Point Boosters inefficiently?
Well that would be a waste of the usually very valuable booster.
So, I'll try to use them sparingly, but as efficiently as possible. That means long waiting times to charge energy up to my full energy pool capacity and collecting treats and energy bars and spending them in large bursts if at all.

And just for comparison, what I mean by inefficient use of a Prestige Point Booster... With a Prestige Point Booster, my current Energy Pool of 2980 Energy full and being used in an Epic Battle I could win 3x298 PP = 894 Prestige Points | Prestige Point Booster Efficiency: 11.04%
Or a bit better, but still very inefficient:

Everyone knows that at this time of year
Presents are given to those we hold dear
In our house each name goes into a hat
And you buy for one person, it’s simple as that
When you draw out that name though which no one must know
You hope to surprise them when out shopping you go
So it makes a big difference which name that you’ve got
Some are easy to buy for, while others are not
Last year I believe my son pulled the short straw
As he told me he panicked when he got ME in the draw
What would he get as a gift for his mother?
Why could he not have chosen his brother?
Days turned into weeks and he tried and he tried
To come up with something but he wasn’t inspired
Till one day a soft voice he heard in his ear
“That puzzle …That box… I’m sure she’d hold dear”
He guessed ‘twas his Grandad had come to his aid
Reminding him of the puzzle that once I had played
Which provided lots of fun for us down through the years
Till after his death when it just disappeared
So that very minute he made up his mind
To start on a project that would take quite some time
It would include some of the riddles his Grandad used ask.
Hour after hour he worked on his task
Although boxed and wrapped nicely it didn’t look much
But he hoped I’d appreciate the personal touch

And what to do with the rest of them?
I'll probably use some of them in the next 3 Weekly Challenges on the first day at least and the rest I'll stack up shortly before they expire and give my best shot at the beginning of that Weekly Challenge, hopefully catching an Epic Battle...

Well, of course, to play smarter and prepare better for the next year's Winter Challenge.

MY PRICELESS GIFT

Everyone knows that at this time of year
Presents are given to those we hold dear
In our house each name goes into a hat
And you buy for one person, it’s simple as that
When you draw out that name though which no one must know
You hope to surprise them when out shopping you go
So it makes a big difference which name that you’ve got
Some are easy to buy for, while others are not
Last year I believe my son pulled the short straw
As he told me he panicked when he got ME in the draw
What would he get as a gift for his mother?
Why could he not have chosen his brother?
Days turned into weeks and he tried and he tried
To come up with something but he wasn’t inspired
Till one day a soft voice he heard in his ear
“That puzzle …That box… I’m sure she’d hold dear”
He guessed ‘twas his Grandad had come to his aid
Reminding him of the puzzle that once I had played
Which provided lots of fun for us down through the years
Till after his death when it just disappeared
So that very minute he made up his mind
To start on a project that would take quite some time
It would include some of the riddles his Grandad used ask.
Hour after hour he worked on his task
Although boxed and wrapped nicely it didn’t look much
But he hoped I’d appreciate the personal touch
Each side was engraved with a riddle from Dad
While the shapes fitted within it, the answers they had
As each one took their present from under the tree
I couldn’t help wonder which one was for me
Soon all that remained was that tiny wee gift
It had to be mine, there was no one else left..
As I carefully opened my little surprise
The first glimpse I got, brought the tears to my eyes
Memories flooded back of happy times had
Trying to solve the same puzzle with the help of my dad
There was no need for thank you. In my face you could see
That this thoughtful present meant so much to me
As my son watched with pleasure he whispered “There’s more..
That puzzle was made from your father’s front door.”
I am so grateful to him for being so clever
As to think of a gift I will treasure forever
I’m sure Dad was smiling when that present was given
I’ve no doubt it was influenced by him up there in Heaven.

I am writing this article to minimize everyone's losses...
I doubt there is such a quantity of Energy Bars in eRepublik to justify efficient use of all the PP Boosters...
So both buying them in large quantities and selling them cheaply seems pointless...

Do you mean that if I buy 100 gifts I will earn at least 100x 78.761CC = 7.87M CC? Nope!
Real price of the gift is 5,1 gold + PP booster. If you have 10 minutes PP boosters you will earn some 3 minutes PP boosters you can spent in next 3 weeks.
I would say if someone earned gifts from weekly challenge, they can exchange them with friends and 3 mins PP boosters can be spent until day 5893 and if we have 70 fuels per week, I think if you activate PP every time you fight you'll need maybe 210 PP boosters, if you have more than that is useless 😉
I converted just 10 gifts because for me 10 PP boosters is enough for 3 weeks, with 10 minutes fighting in epic on start of the WC you can go up to 20k PP points every week and if you have more PP boosters, you wont earn so much more 😉
I think if someone gives for gift more than 6000 CC it's too much, but it is easiest way to turn your CC into gold and treats 😉

No, of course not, you will not earn it, but you could save that much money in damage that you could make if you wanted to make it in some other way than without a Prestige Point Booster.

Yes, I agree, the real price of the gift is exactly 5.1 Gold + PP booster and the real price of PP Booster is at least 73.74 Gold. So the total sum is still 78.761 CC.
And yes, since Power Point Boosters have an expiry date, you should be careful that you spend as many of them by then.
It's like buying cakes in the supermarket. They have a price and an expiry date. You could buy more than you could eat by yourself.
But if you make a party and share them with your friends then it's not a problem to eat them all. They still have the same value, just not only for you. You share that value with your friends.
That's why buying (a lot of) Gifts doesn't make sense as by buying them you increase the chance you won't be using them efficiently and that diminishes their value and then indeed their value becomes only 5,1 gold + some change (PP booster) becomming 7.5k CC or 10k CC at most, which is a shame... Just wasting resources and most of it's value...
It's like killing an elephant to get his tusks ans selling them as ivory...

I think what he means is if you have 100 PP boosters for 3 mins in your inventory already, then the price you WANT to pay for a gift is way less.
And it is not similar with killing an elephant. It is similar to buying a box for the nice energy bars and the small amount of gold it has inside, and not care at all about the shiny coin that comes with it, because you already have more shiny coins than you need and all of them will evaporate in 3 weeks anyway.
*Just wasting resources and most of its value...
