The mentor slowly closed his book after the student bounded out of the room. Rather than jump up and run to his next appointment as usual, this time he treated himself to the luxury of sitting quietly for a few moments and think about the time he had just spent. The student was so young in terms of eRep. "Ah yes but that was me only a few months ago" he thought silently to himself. "Guess maybe I've learned more than I realized around this crazy place" he chuckled out loud to the empty room.

Suddenly the quiet was shattered as the young girl he had been mentoring for the past 4 weeks burst back into the doorway and shouted across the room- "Thank you again Mr. S. You've helped me get started here better than you could ever imagine!" With an exuberant wave she turned and was again gone. But that amazing feeling of truly helping another human being would never leave Mr. S. and he knew it.
