Hello eCanada,

Enjoying paying your new Work Tax? Not to worry Congress will put your hard earned money to good use. What's that? We have no Congress...? well, not to worry we'll use that money to fight for a Congress... oh wait, we don't have a Congress... to give us access to the money... so that we can have a Congress to get us the money that we need to get a Congress...

Yeah, that's right, we're trapped into an ever worsening and infinite downward spiral on to our way to extinction. YAY! Your eLife is pointless and Plato doesn't care! Or something like that.

Got something to say about that? Maxwell Wolf, an eCanadian exile started a thread about it on the newly reopened eRep forums. Make your voice heard there before they decide to shut it down again for a few years to silence their critics.

I hate to kick eCan when it's down but congress never did have a strong grasp of financial matters. eCan's income tax was too high even when we were on the map.

oh my, that is a vicious spiral, isn't it. I gotta say, this game does have an unbalanced set-up and I don't really know what would help even things out. Maybe what Maxwell suggests will help out a bunch. One thing is for sure, I want to be there on the day that Congress breaks that swollen piñata open. Mad scramble!

If only back in the day, eCanada had not been plagued by a group of selfish players who put their own needs ahead of the collective. If only. But alas, it was not to be.

Now that the body has been bled dry, even the ticks have fallen off. But alas, the damage they did appears to have been fatal.

Nah, there's enough new life in eCanada to accomplish things - if only the game wasn't stupidly imbalanced right now in favour of TWO and if proper game mechanics were in place to make things difficult for occupying nations instead of the occupied ones. I actually think eCan has a good vibe these days despite it all - past grudges and regrets are ancient history as far as I can tell.

Cause of Death: Unknown, yet lickely related to a pronounced rash around anus caused by a bad case of the mange or an obsessive compulsive colon fixation

Whatever the case, I'm sure things like this are just temporary. I trust in M.Wolf.
