The Political Winds are Changing

Day 1,605, 14:13 Published in Canada Canada by MCMXCIlI

Greetings fellow eCanucks.

I don't know about you, but all I keep hearing about in recent news is Mia Angela Carina, and her vendetta to take over one of Norsefire's parties.

Just days ago, Mia publicized her plans through her own paper, Broken Halo. People everywhere seem to be supporting her efforts to overthrow one of the corrupted Norsefire parties. Citizens like Wombatman25 are endorsing her campaign for Party President of the Norsefire - Redwood Originals. OLloyd, who is following a similar strategy to Mia by running against Tahmesee in the Wolfpack Chapter, has also supported Mia's "Movement".

In Mia's paper, she has expressed her concerns that her Movement may lose momentum following the PP elections on April 15th, saying:

"Should fortune favor the foolish and I win, will I be able to continue the push to change the political landscape, or will I burn out, get lost in the shuffle, and become a has-been as the country moves onto the Next Big Thing? So much is being made about kicking Rolo [Tahmasee] to the curb, the question isn’t asked enough: If the creators of this “movement” are successful, winning one or all elections, and removing Norsefire from their seat of power, what then?"

What then indeed. If the combined efforts of OLloyd, Killer2001, and Mia are successful in bringing down the main support columns of Norsefire's Juggernaut, What will happen next? Will we see restored order to eCanadian politics? Do the citizens of our nation have the willpower to see this movement through? If the growing popularity of Mia Angela Carina says anything, it's that the eCanadian public is not satisfied with Norsefire, as well as Rolo Tahmesee and his tarnished reputation. But is simple dissatisfaction enough to successfully overhaul the eCanadian political battlefield?

I believe that in order to move forward, there has to be many politicians willing to set aside personal agenda and work together in seeing this through. If these three hopefuls succeed in their endeavors, they will need the support of many others who share the same determination and dedication to truly achieve what this movement hopes to accomplish.
