Join the new world

Please let me begin by thanking all my fellow Washingtonians for allowing me to serve you in Congress this past month. It was certainly an eye-opening experience and I was proud to represent you. As I am no longer in congress, I look forward to supporting our next representative alongside each of you. Although we do not currently have control of our State in this war, we can all hold fast knowing we will again in the future.

A number of things have happened the past couple weeks that have caused my interest in "politics as normal" to wane considerably. I believe no person should be asked to compromise their fundamental beliefs to accomplish another's objectives. Here just as in RL these fundamental beliefs are what create the person we are. And I believe in responsive and candid communication at all times. If we can't keep talking to each other openly and with respect then what's the point of even being here.

Fortunately I've found an organization that shares my mindset on a whole raft of issues, and I plan to spend much of my time working with them as their new communications director. eNova is a coalition of eRepublik players that are dedicated to the idea of member nation achievement, new player development, and innovative solutions in eRepublik. They believe that true success in eRepublik can only be realized through teamwork, organization and a commitment to a shared mission.


They are organized around the idea of projects examples such as these three currently under development:

eNOVA Futures Program
Purpose: Actively seek out new citizens and provide them with the supplies, information, and mentoring resources...

eNOVA Business Sponsorship
Purpose: To identify a group of domestic businesses which will be promoted as preferred supply resources for the eNOVA organization and members....

eNOVA PTO Defense Division
Purpose: To establish a rigorously non-partisan PTO Defense Division which will be assigned to defend eUS candidates...

What you can't see from this short introduction is this program intends to PAY involved citizens to be mentors.. it intends to DRIVE a significant number of transactions to member business. And it intends to support eAmerica every way it can. There has not been an organization like this before in eRep and the whole idea is incredibly exciting.
