Hello all,

I apologise for talking about this issue in shouts and comments over the past few days. I have been away enjoying myself and my laptop died so my phone was my only internet access.

Firstly I would like to thank every non normal Legion member who has come over to Team GB and fought bravely and hard for the good of the country, we have done great so far and there have been excellent amounts of damage done by people coming over for the cause. I will take a proper look at the statistics closer to the end of the competition when I have actually unpacked! We have also seen great damage done by other eUKers not in Team GB, well done to you as well! Hopefully I can convince you to put all future damage you have into the Team GB pot!

Secondly I would obviously like to thank the original Legion members, you have all welcomed in temporary members and we have a really good feeling of harmony right now it seems (at least from what I have seen!).

Now to business.

As you probably already know I am pushing for people to join the MU "Team GB" for the remainder of the competition and to fight to help us finish in the top 50 rankings. Why?

Any MU that ends up in the top 50 in the world will gain two extra energy bars, zookers and str per DO completed for a week. Add on top of that the two for finishing in the top 3 in the country and that is 5 str, 5 energy bars and 5 zookers a day. 35 str over a week for nothing is great, I personally would love it, more str is always better! 35 Energy bars is also nice energy and can really advance a newer players game and the zookers goes even further for those guys. To claim the extra rewards all you have to do is complete two DOs in Team GB, there is still time, pop over and finish them for the chance to get this reward. We do not care if you have not helped us get to the top 50, just join with 25 hours left in the competition, complete the DO that day and the next and you are eligible for the reward. The whole point is for this to benefit ANYONE in the eUK. I urge people to inform newer players of this option to advance their game. (Please remember you will need to do more damage for Team GB than you have done for your current MU to get the reward)

Now, for that to happen we do need to finish in the top 50. We have had a bit of a rollercoaster ride so far, we have been in and out of the top 50 like a yo-yo. We are currently very close to the top 50 and could really do with some help to ensure we make it. If you have thinking of dropping any damage at all (as they say, EVERY LITTLE HELPS - Big amounts do help more 😃) then please consider moving to Team GB simply for this competition and to help all.



Now, for the Myths.

The Legion is trying to steal our members! The Legion only want a gold medal! They only want the prizes for themselves!

If anything, the entity, The Legion, actually lose out from this competition. We gain nothing apart from a gold medal on our profile saying we came first in our country while losing a lot of extra cash due to our rewarding and supplying.

Members in a top 50 MU get an Org - The eUK is giving out orgs to MUs on request anyway, this will be of no extra use.

The members get the 5 EBs and Zookers you speak of earlier - As mentioned, this is available to everyone! We are opening our doors for all of the eUK to benefit, we are even extrending our normal rewards system to non Legioners for the duration of their stay! That is The Legion out of pocket!

The Legion are just trying to steal our members! - Why would we do that? In an article just over a week ago The Legion stated we had to close our supplies as we could not afford more members. We don't want more members! For your peace of mind we will be using Muse to create a list of people who have joined the Legion and we will kindly message them the day the competition is over to remind them to go back to their original unit. That is actually extra work for Legion Command, no gain for us.

The Legion only want the 150 gold they will get if they finish in the top 50! Once again, WRONG - All of that 150 gold will be donated directly to the NHS to help them cover the service, does that sound like Legion benefiting or the eUK benefiting?

How many people have always said we need to help out newer players? How many players always only write those words and never actually put anything into action?

Spread the word that Team GB is here to help the eUK as a whole. Inform newer players of the advantages they can gain if we succeed in getting into the top 50 and inform older players that they have an opportunity to help people out via spreading the word and doing the damage.

Don’t care about the EBs? Don’t think you will do enough damage to help? Nonsense! All damage will help and you can also help by shouting this and messaging your friends, every little helps. Do you want the NHS to get that 150 gold? That is ALOT OF FOOD!

I appreciate some people just can’t join. Sadly we can’t go back in time and make a neutral MU everyone can join, we are past that now, I wouldn't have been able to join a neutral MU due to my citizenship but if it was possible I sure would have.

The Legion is not in this for ego, do you think I would write an article like this if it was an ego trip? We KNOW this is an eUK effort not a Legion effort. We would just prefer it if we could call it an eUK effort and not some of the eUK.

Now it is your decision. As you can see, The Legion does not benefit from this, we are not in it for an ego trp. This is all about helping others and the eUK. Want to be able to say you were a part of this? Come on over!
