Join the new world

I've made it no secret that I don't support the current war with eUSA, nor the corrupt and dishonorable manner in which the war was instigated. However, there are matters where patriotism and duty to country supersede ideologies and politics. On that note I must impress the following point:

BUY CANADIAN!

Check the source of your food and weapon purchases before you buy. If they aren't Canadian, move on to the next available selection. If the players selling Canadian have much higher prices then players from foreign countries then message them and ask them to make you a better offer. As an industrialist I'd rather be selling to you at a discount then not selling to you at all.

Just as war is the key factor in creating demand for industry, successful armies need an abundant supply of food and weapons. When you buy from foreign players, you are removing capital from our market and stunting our country's growth. Then by default you are injecting capital into a foreign country and enhancing their growth at the expense of Canada's growth.

To put it another way, when you buy from foreign players you slow/prevent the flow of cash to Canadian manufacturers. These are the guys making your food and weapons. More cash for them, means more factories, more factories mean greater supply of goods, greater supply of goods means cheaper prices, and finally cheaper prices mean more food and higher quality weapons for more of our troops.

More fully loaded troops = a fighting force to be feared. And I think that is something we all want.

This is obviously just one component to a strong economy, but it is an important one particularly during a time of war.

Don't be lazy. Make that extra click before you purchase and check who you are buying from before you buy. Support Canada and support our troops!
