Suggestion to save this game

Day 2,875, 12:38 Published in Belgium Belgium by Franckie18

Hello everyone,

I'm writing this article to maybe "save" the game. Cause yeah, we all know it's going to die if admins doesn't change anything already existing instead of adding continiously features that do not have a good impact or give us tournaments we don't like.

So my suggestion would be about the Divisions. As eRepublik mostly turns around the military module, Divisions have a lot of impact on everyone's eRepublik experience.
New players join and do not have any impact in division 1, and old players stay forever in Division 4 and have to invest a looooot of ressources to have impact in a battle because this Division is overpopulated.

And the 2 remaining Divisions, Division 2 and 3, have a really low amount of players but have tanks with the same amount of strength than Division 4, that are ruling the Division.

So new players and old players leave because they don't have impact and Division 2 and 3 players leave too because they don't have as much strength as tanks in their division.

So some players suggested Divisions by strength.
The idea isn't bad, but players would stop training when they're going to change division, and that's it. They would up their rank and new players wouldn't be able to reach older players' rank.

Other players suggested Divisions by rank.
That would become kind of the same problem as division by level, because people would have to farm strength, and Plato would transform the Infantry Kit's experience inhibitor into a rank inhibitor.
This idea is as bad as the current situation. Maybe worse because players would level up by working in factories while farming strength, and we already have overproduction, so this would destroy the economy that already has difficulties to exist.

My suggestion is Divisions by age.

Players would stay a certain amount of time in each division and each Division would have its quality of weapons :

The years/divisions/quality of weapons may ofcourse be changed, this image is to help you understanding what I mean, even if I think the datas are well chosen 😛

So for example, I joined on the 30st of July 2013, so I would be in Division 2 until my next eBirthday.

Positive points :
You face players of your age. We remove overpopulation and give a chance to new players to have impact in this game.

With the time, we'll have to create new divisions because players will become older, so new weapon qualities will be needed and this will help the economy I hope.

Every type of weapon would be used, and new players would have to pay a bit less than older ones.

Negative points :
Players that rejoin the game after years of inactivity are completely useless in their Division. But this can be avoided by letting players reset their account.

And I wouldn't be annoyed that the game would give you after your reset, 5% or even 10% of the gold you have bought since your last reset (this avoids a player to reset every year) as gift. With this, players wouldn't lose everything they have had before, even if they lose much.

Players would thus have a "first join" date and a "last reset" date on their profile page.

Why you should Alexis Bonte (akka Plato) do this
1. More players would play, means more money.
2. Players resetting their account would buy more gold because they need to upgrade their Training grounds and so.
3. Players not resetting their account will need gold to upgrade their weapon factories with the new weapons.
4. Remove the Infantry Kit, but propose players to keep even more of the the gold they purchased since the last reset when they reset, for some euros.
5. Because it would make the players happy, and make older players come back.
6. To simply keep eRepublik alive and get even more money than now.

Even if you don't agree with everything I said, I guess you'll agree that the game needs a change similar to this, and I invite you to write a comment explaining why you like/dislike my ideas.

Thank you for having read my suggestion, and please don't forget to vote this article, it's really important.

By voting this article, you'll give my words more power, and thus have more chances to get this implemented.

For a better eWorld,
