Short lived is better than never had

G'day Aussies. Yes I've been gone from erepublik for quite a while now and wouldn't be the least surprised if people read this and go "Who's that bloke?" I had a few weeks into it before I started dipping in and out of the site, disappointed with the lack of Australian battles and a dying community. I didn't want to become an Oliver Twist asking for more so my approach was to come back now and then and see what had happened, got better, worse etc.

I've done that now and I have no regrets. It was a short lived experience for me this game and all that went with it. I had some great chats with solid people who were fun to be around. At the same time it was cool to watch them put the work into the game and give credit where it was due. I don't have any negative experiences or ill will towards anyone and for that I'm glad to be able to end it on a high note.

The time has come to pull up the anchor and move off to another fishing spot. I love Australia as it's my home country in life outside the game. No offence but I have little interest in country bouncing. It was cool to chat with blokes and gals in the local lingo without ten thousand "huh?" and "what you talking about chief?"

I forget a lot of the names but happy trails to all those I met on here. I remember BOUD1CCA, bk83, binda33, Dr Hugh and ClaireLouise as the most chatted with. Good luck to you good people on what comes.

To everyone else it's been fun playing. Be good and live well in and out of the game.
