Rylde's eUSA War: Why he needs you to believe it's rain

Rylde's own words from the other day gave it all away: “A lot of the problems of why we are doing so little hinges on USA who tried to backstab all its allies and join pro ONE countries,” said Rydle. “We have no borders with any enemies and are stuck as support for our allies.”
This self declared dictator runs on the platform of war, war and more war. He couldn't afford the boxed in state of peace that he created for himself. But then he would never be so selfish and desperate to save own position that he would move to create a war against eCanada's long time ally eUSA? Would he? Think again.
In his own mind the alliance with eUSA was done. He just needed to create an excuse so we would no longer be "stuck" and free to attack eUSA. Of course instead of flat out declaring war, he instead chooses to whitewash over his original intentions and continue a string of flimsy lies that unravel faster than he can tell them:

Code-Y did it... (Occupational scapegoat and wacky bad boy gets a 72 hour vacation).
A congressman bribed him to do it... (No name given. Why? Doesn't exist).
eUSA created their motion 2 minutes after us! See, see. It's them, not me. … (You mean you managed to find a cohort in eUSA crazy enough to push the red button after you. Congrats).
I'm telling people to vote no on NE... (Of course you are. eUSA has to look like the initial aggressors, even though you initially provoked the attack).
And the laughs just keep coming.
So why go to all the trouble? Rylde desperately needs eCanadians to both see him as it's battle ready defender against an unwanted aggressor should we win, or the tragic victim of an unwanted attack should we lose.
What Rylde can't afford is to be seen as the architect of eCanada's destruction.

Been playing eRepublik since November 2008, mostly commerce verses military. Been through each version upgrade, both good and bad. I've played every day and built a healthy industry.
I have found the current government's lack of accountability and exclusion of eCanada players too much to remain silent.

@Treian I am likewise an active player, though it appears that only one of use entertains the idea of mutual respect. I do and have log in every day for years, though clearly not been as vocal as yourself nor have I ever felt a need to be. Your elitist attitude that people don’t measure up to your good graces is a very lonely and self indulgent role to play.
@Treian I am consistently amazed that a government that fully acknowledges that it is a dictatorship is shocked that it has detractors. Then add to that same detractors are vocal seems sadly alien to them. Given that this is in part a government simulation game, we are warranted to play the roles of opposition to tyranny. If you can’t take that, then kindly step down.
This happens to RL dictatorships. Although this is just a game (to most people) and we can't start an actual Libya-like incident, we will always (sometimes, considering admins) have freedom of speech, and the right to stand against this evil.

My name was not made as a military power I started in politics and only started really fighting a little over a year ago now, in the sweeden war you speak of..... but things and people change... the eUK was once our ally and eFrance our enemy... not so anymore.....
True.. But change takes time. I trust Rylde to a degree, and I believe he is a good CP (minus eUSA stuff and dictatorship) but I don't think he is what we need right now. Am I suggesting I should be elected? No, I still have to learn alot about the politics. Tyrael would've done a good job (contrary to most beliefs, unfortunately.) But sadly, the ones proven to be best suited are gone. Sperry would've done great, but, as I'm sure others out there believe as well, we need Jacobi back..
If we were in the middle of another 5-front invasion, that would be the best time for him as CP.
Congrats Treian you have power in a browser game, but you don't need to go off on every one. Yes none of us have said much up untill this point because we have had nothing to say, now we are speaking our minds. Sure, I'm not a vet at the game like you, but like Nukem said, we gotta start somewhere, and this is what we believe about our eCanada, and I'm positive we can say it freely.
