Congress

First some general housekeeping tomorrow (25th) is Congress election day, and various members of the community have organised an ATO movement, designed to keep a party that has been identified as potentially hostile out of the top 5, thus denying them the ability to elect Congressmen. They ask that if you are in either of the largest 2 parties, or a party outside of the top 5, that you move to PCP, WRP or UKRP.

This has to be done today, before the election begins.

On the 25th the voting for Congress will open, vote! It is always important to vote, and to be heard. There is some disillusionment with Congress these days, but hopefully I and a few others will be able to make some headway in improving that, as the support and popularity shown on my previous article illustrates. So please have a think and have a vote, because it is always important to try and be heard, even if our system needs some fixing right now.



Royal Fun Fund

I am pleased to announce that the first payout for the Royal Fun Fund has been awarded.

Henry Hank Moody contacted me about a quiz he is putting together with WRP, which will take place next sunday (3rd August). Following that Henry and WRP plan to hold bi-weekly quizzes to try and boost morale and encourage companionship. They have organised a 20 gold prize for first place, and the Royal Fun Fund is providing 10 gold for second, and 5 gold for third place, as well as many Q7 guns to be awarded throughout the quiz.

This is pretty much exactly the kind of thing I was hoping to see coming through the fund, so if you have any games or quizzes etc. you want to run, feel free to message me and we can discuss funding prizes.

For those interested, almost 2k GBP has been given out as part of the Royal Writers over the past month, so keep up the good work!

Royal Family Prize

Over the past week you have been voting in the Poll to decide who would win this month’s Royal Family Prize. The vote count increased from last month, and I was pleased to see that over 80 people voted for who would get the cash and title. This months nominees were Ayame Crocodile, Alan Warwickshire, Mick Cain and Waynekerr.

The results are as follows:

In fourth, Ayame Crocodile with 9 votes.

In third, Waynekerr with 16 votes.

In second place, Mick Cain with 26 votes.

Meaning this months winner, with 32 votes, was Alan Warwickshire for his work running the NHS.

Congratulations to all our nominees, and especially to Alan. The 1000 GBP prize is heading your way and you are now a member of the Royal Family (you don’t have to tell people that part though).

The prize aims to reward community service and give something back to those who work hard for the eUK for little or no recognition. The next nomination period for August will open in two weeks.
