The New World Cup - a new competition, a new shame.

People bought bazooka parts, energy bars, weapons, gold (with real money), got to 500 Prestige Points and had to write a ticket to get the reward of +10 energy/6 minutes, the game ran very badly early in the morning and YES, quite a few people hoped they would rank up faster with the overpowered bazookas. That's because the admins told everyone the damage would count for rank as well.

Today, 3 hours after the competition began, the bazooka damage no longer counted for more damage for the rank. The admins didn't care about the plans of the users so they changed their minds about the bazooka damage and they will still act like regular ones in the military rank.



This is literally a scam, so I wrote an ironical article about it. They just deleted it and informed me the reason was flaming.


So I wrote them a ticket and told them (in Romanian) that if they are capable of screwing up so badly, they should be up for ironical articles. Apparently they're not up to do that. But they also told me to write in English. Twice. Most of us know the majority of the eRepublik staff/moderators are Romanian, so replying me twice about the language but completely missing the point of the ticket... it's rather pathetic.

Anyway, for all this, eRepublik gets one more Forfeit Point from me.

The third FP will render my citizen dead and I will start an online campaign just stating the truth about how eRepublik is run. Not slander, no ill will, no "sensational" stuff, just the truth. We all know it's just a game, but even when you play football with your friends you still want it to be fair-play. And whatever this is... it's certainly not fair-play.

The moderators/admins might delete this article as well. I really don't care anymore. It will only add the third and final FP that the eRepublik team deserves for a job poorly done.

Admins, moderators, all we ask is fair-play. Most of us are able to move past bugs, lag and "nepotism", but what you did today is utterly wrong.

The last time I wrote about respect I said I expected an apology and a decent closure to my tickets. Both expectations failed miserably. I also demanded respect, but it's pretty clear that we won't get if thing keep going like this. So I no longer expect anything good, nor respect. I just wish you guys will revise your attitude towards the community. I'm still here because I like the community and some parts of the game, but the last thing I want is everyone complaining about how unfair is this and that.

Can you man up and do the right thing?
