Welcome to the fifteenth edition of Political Hotspot

The PCP has no seats in Congress for the first time since I joined the game, having been pushed out of the top five by the meteoric rise of the British Democrat Party (formerly United Sovereign). The British Democrat Party has managed an incredible rise in the last ten days, doubling it's membership from 24 to 49. It would seem likely that the party will continue to rise, possibly pushing the WRP into fifth place soon. Watch out WRP.

William Ross, however, also needs to watch out. The more important a party gets, the higher the chances of serious challenge to the leadership. William Ross has been shielded from this until now - but as more ambitious players join the party, since they can now stand for Congress, the higher the chances of changes to the leadership.

The TUP is performing badly in elections recently - and it has just lost eleven members in ten days. How much longer will it be the top party?

Meanwhile, following in the footsteps of the rise of the RL Green Party, the eUK now has it's very own version, the Greens.

The next edition of Political Hotspot will be published on Wednessday 6th May.
