you didn't write about how awesome Ghostrr is, so guess where that pineapple is gonna go XD
But I've been raised not to lie :3
Exactly Shoi, if you were not supposed to lie, then you should've said it ...
Now Prepare your ANANAS 😛
Just a small comment, in Chile they are called PIÑAS (plural) not ANANAS.
It's ananas in Argentinean Spanish 🙂
Actually it's ANANAS in most of latinamerica. I think we are the only ones that call them different.
Piña in Colombia as well.
that's not true rtapiact, in many latinamerican countries it's called Piña
im pretty sure i said more half naked women not pineapples....but whatever, its your party...
English speaking people are weird.
Meh, it's better than having to make every word masculine or feminine, and pronounce it differently depending on that
Shades of French
It's the other way around if you are born in a country where the language has masculine or feminine words. Btw, the fact that English hasn't got that feature really fcks up the translation of some jokes- both ways. It's easier to translate a joke from Spanish to Bulgarian or Italian to French. May be long long long ago there was a feminist movement amongst the anglo-saxons, huh?
where is Indonesia? its 'nanas' in indonesia \O/
Stick this article up your ananas Shoi.
So this is what you do when you get too much time on your hands, eh?
painapple
Ananász :) You get strange requests Shoi :D
So, let me get this straight: there's a universal word for pineapple which ties together all languages except English? Nice!

It looks like the offspring of an apple and a pinecone.
Pineapple-because English calls it like it sees it!
Does not look anything like banana.
Oinyo is probably getting loaded on a fruit drink as we speak.
Hey Oinyo -- if you're still sober enough -- is it a Pina Colada or an an Ananas Colada?
Arabic: Ananas - German: Ananas - The rest of the worl😛 Ananas - English: Pineapple. Wtf.
LOL I didnt know it was called اناناس in so many other languages
Apparently it's "mananasi" in Swahili.
What about bananas? http://i.stack.imgur.com/47tWZ.jpg
Ананас (ananAs)- if you separate the word to look like "a na nas" it would sound like a question in Bulgarian which means " What about (to) us" (like if someone gives them and them and them and them something and they don't give it to us, we would ask "A na nas?" lool 😃
What is it called in Klingon?
Uhmm in Spain is called piña or pineapple 😎
Pineapples are actually my second favorite fruit! : 3
