PANAM is Good, But...

I love the idea of PANAM and the third power is always what I'd like to see. But here I would to raise two questions for discussion.
PANAM is a regional based alliance for American countries to get rid of endless wars in Europe and achieve our own objectives. So what are the objectives?
PANAM is declared to be a “defensive” alliance initially (which is same as EDEN) and I don’t think we will be invaded by other countries under current situation as no one wants to piss off America. But meanwhile, we have put ourselves into a cage – right, we are definitely dominative in our continent and time zone but this game just won’t work if we are not involved in any direct wars. We have to go to Europe or Asia, but what’s the interest? I don’t think we would like to be world police (maybe freedom fighter sounds better) again. Personally I think PANAM needs to recruit more countries from Europe and Asia. Countries have no RL hatred like France, China, Germany, UK (if we can forgive) will be good candidates. And in this case, we may need to change the name of the alliance.
When PANAM was back in our plan, EDEN and Phoenix were still in tight fight in Europe. But things are changing today. Hungary and Serbia just left Phoenix and they will be quite possible to found a new alliance with Poland, Turkey and Macedonia. Check the country population ranking, you will find that this alliance may become the strongest alliance in erep history. They will have no opponent in the battlefield even all other countries are united. So here comes the question, what is our position?
It will be quite easy to say PANAM is a neutral alliance and we are not going to fight any countries for nothing. Maybe some guys are even happy to see European EDEN countries like Romania or Croatia are destroyed. But guess what, the world war system in this game is like a non-stop machine. We will drift into the maelstrom soon or later, no matter we like it or not. PANAM will be the only potential enemy if European battlefield is cleaned up. The only question is that we want to fight now (another EDEN-Phoenix story) or later (another WWIII?).

Well the thing is that more regional alliances will pop after Phoenix and EDEN collapse

Every DOD puts "defense" into their names but I don't see how much defensive they are.
PANAM says "netural": it means that they are not interested battlefields in Eastern Europe, while it does not mean that they won't creat a new battlefields elsewhere.
By the way, how do you change your citizenship without quiting your oversea party?

We need more countries to join PANAM. Or else we will be crushed by eastern europe. Maybe another alliance will pop up to counter them. Maybe Russia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Greece. Something like that.
for panam go east or west, both sides are former allies several foes...sooner if pick east or later if go to west you will find hungary or serbia walking toward north america.
send good adversaries in serbia and hungary so you can be informed about goals.
being far from europe can be good + if you have spain to watch back, but can be very bad when fire comes at doorsteps.

Serbia, Poland, Hungary, Macedonia, Slovenia and Turkey will fight Romania, Croatia, Bulgaria, Greece, Ukraine, Italy etc most of the time, and therefore be of less of a threat outside Europe.
Mega dittos with the writer we need to fight them now with our allies then later without them

Kind of defeats the purpose of calling it PanAm.
No RL hates from china? Uhmm, I suppose they just trying to take down USA hegemony in the world, especially in terms of economy. They don't give a crap about their currency is undervalue, so other country (by others means USA) doesn't have advantages over chinese goods.
But hey, probably no RL hates. They doing that with a big warm smile towards others (by others means USA) xD
