Hello again and welcome to another news filled news era with all the new era news.
It seems like some of the landed elites of New Era are upset by my rise to the lynchpin position of Media Module Mechanic Maximiser Master. Namely wigibob seems to feel threatened by my willingness to use a voice.
Now in New Era + friends, having and expressing your own views is not only frowned upon, but a capital offence. Doing so is liable to make yourself a target for the New Era elitist troll brigade, and they will relentlessly abuse you in the hope that you leave. The need for uniformity is great indeed.
My response to this is that wigibob must in fact leave New Era right now, and never come back. In fact he should probably just quit erepublik in shame for his actions, maybe even do something stupid and irreversibly damaging in real life.

TACO: The Account Creators Organisation
Now that our hostile takeover movement is gaining a lot of ground, we feel confident enough to leave tantalising clues to our origin. Even we are happy to frankly sing to the world that New Era, Freemasons and RDP (Radical 'Democratic' Party) are absolutely riddled with the elitist inner circle of tyrants' multiple accounts.
TACO is the name for our alliance of parties in our eMexican takeover of eUK. The name reflects our recruitment policy of making many, many multiple accounts.
We need this group of parties so that we can stop the other, legitimate parties from using the full functionality of parties that eRepublik offers. A political party needs to be in the top 5 to 'count' or run for congress that is. Our aim is to use our multi-account inflated slave parties to keep real players from running for congress and fill it with our robotic mexican extras. When we have the majority in congress then we can impeach any president we don't like and unilaterally impose laws on the country without a democratic mandate!
If this aggressive thwarting of other peoples fun by abusing gameplay mechanics sounds like your kind of thing, then you should join one of the TACO parties.. be sure to remember to bring ALL your accounts though! We need the membership count to make our evil plans work!
If you're not into spoiling other people's fun and dislike cheating at games, then you should consider staying the heck away from us. We don't like people who abide by eRepublik terms & conditions, and we don't like fun. Join one of the scummy legitimate parties like TUP/UKPP/UKRP/ESO/etc where they don't use our mastermind tactics of lying cheating and outright bullying!

Could I remind all right minded people that there will be those disagreeing with the above. When such negative comments are made, could I remind you of the words of the great Guko Jones:
"Please don't rise to the obvious trolling guys, they WANT a reaction from you. They are nasty people who get a kick from making others upset and frustrated."
So remember - ignore any comments from people slagging off the article... They are a couple of nasty little trolls who are using their multiple accounts in order to try and make their complaints sound like the concerns of the wider community...

I thought Dan Moir told him to bugger off, and he was in your party before and after being in TUP. If you really have an issue with multis, you shouldn't use them, simple...wouldn't you say so, atkins1997\Sir Scott Williamson etc.?

It ALWAYS seem odd to me that TWO players joined up on the same day (Feb 24 2012), both have Leigh Francis in their avatars, both having many mutual friends including Ryan1997 and Darkvoyagr who both banned along with Atkins1997 very quickly for using multis...friends who are also friends of other people who were banned for using multis. Some of the friends who weren't banned had names like "Mcquillan1997" and "jamesquinn1996". Ryan1997 had three friends, Atkins1997, jj1998, Mcquillan1997...Mcquillan1997 had the same friends. RyaaNAVFC had Atkins 1997 and jj1998. Darkvoyagr and jamesquinn1996 only had Atkins1997. The bans happened so early on that it was impossible for someone to retrospectively add the Leigh Francis avatar and supposedly be only the second person to spontaneously do so. Personally, I know what the likeliest scenario is.

I'd agree. However, what are your thoughts when it is not Invalidation making such comments? Recent and not-so-recent history shows that there actually a few in New Era who regularly make these comments too.
I've lost count of the times Don Dapper has told me to quit erepublik / the UK because I dont agree with him or because I'm just an old player hanging on to power

It's the second part that's the problem. I'll protect your right to free speech, even though I don't agree with you, but there is a line in the sand. Your suggestion whilst probably intended to be a silly comment, is hateful and inflammatory. The mere idea that how someone plays a game should determine their living status in real life is outrageous and shows how childish you likely are.
Of course we don't suggest kids 'take a long walk off a short pier', they get smacked (reported) as much for their own good as for everyone else. The general article you posted was in good humor, and whilst I don't agree with content, it was fun to read - just remember where the line in the sand is next time.

I don't think it is unreasonable to make such an argument, considering that his lot have engaged in systemic lying and fraud towards REAL people, especially those of his own country that they are supposed to be trying to improve. BigAnt for example has before defended something along the lines of "even if it is wrong, it happens anyway, so we should profit from it". I wouldn't want such a person living anywhere near me.
So whilst asserting BigAnt is a bad apple for supporting a course of action that is grey/wrong, you use as a defense for speaking badly of another - 'they do it to'. If people want to take the moral high-ground, then they have to judge themselves as harshly as they do others - maybe more so. Whilst I don't support rule breaking, I am for a pragmatic attitude to remaining competitive. If someone was to do something in the grey area, I'd far rather it was for the good of the economy than for petty personal gain. I don't always agree with his ideas (recent one about press springs to mind) but I do understand where it's coming from. In short, if I don't have a better solution, I'll shut up and observe.
I don't think Invalidation was seriously suggesting that members of New Era should go and behave as badly in so-called "real life" than they do here...it was rather a statement intended to shame people who have been engaging in nefarious actions. Neither was Invalidation speaking badly of another...he has been merely reflecting on the bad deeds they have done. It is odd that you don't approve of rule-breaking consider the sister clone party to the RDP, the Freeemasons, publicly advocates the "braking" of rules. Further, what the New Era lot has been doing has only being detrimental to the cohesiveness of the British community here...we're supposed to share common goals and get along with each other, while politely disagreeing on how things are achieved. In the times before Goku Jones' PTOing etc. and BigAnt's divisive terms in various parties, things were a lot more harmonious in our community. People have and still do enjoy friendships with people from rival countries...so why is that the New Era lot are so intent on damaging our community, including repeatedly stating their intention to PTO the UK?
I have logs of Invalidation telling me to go and kill myself and stop abusing children from a few months ago.
Considering that I have had problems with depression in the past and that I work in schools IRL, this kind of stuff is really beyond the pale.
He thinks he is giving us a taste of our own medicine, but even when very mad at the corruption in eUK, we have never stooped so low as this guy continually stoops.

You have a constant habit of attacking a whole party because of the perceived failings of one individual...you have a constant habit of smearing all UK parties as 'TUP puppets' etc. etc. At the same time, members of your party actively talk of engaging in dirty play, whether vote-buying, lying, or PTOing the eUK and it's parties, your mission statement is to "brake" the rules!

Could you give an example of one thing I have said that isn't true? It is a fact that the Freemasons mission statement states an active intent to "brake" the rules, that New Era members have stated an intent to PTO the eUK on a regular basis and have also even stooped to staging several PTOs of legitimate parties...with no attempt to hide blatant vote-buying...you are also publicly proud of your clear intent to nobble the electoral process through your clone parties...all ways in which you disenfranchised people who are supposed to have the same common cause. It is clear that the self-appointed New Era elites are in this game to PowerCrab on the UK scene and that they have no consideration for the interests of ALL British citizens in relation to the game as a whole...even the milder elements of New Era have said that the New Era "Elite" need to calm down and generally get a grip.
